GILLIG employees went above and beyond to make our GILLIG Cares Holiday "Stuff-a-Bus" Toy Drive a success. With the leadership of our Product Planning & Strategy team and the generosity of our entire GILLIG family, we helped fill a Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority bus with toys to bring joy to local families in need this holiday season. If you'd like to help stuff-a-bus and spread holiday cheer, the Wheels team is hosting their Stuff-a-Bus event tomorrow from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Walmart Shopping Center in Livermore, California. If you're not in the area, we encourage you to explore opportunities to give back in your community or consider supporting other GILLIG Cares partners, like the Alameda County Community Food Bank's holiday food drive or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Let’s continue making an impact this holiday season and continue to drive America forward. #GILLIG #GILLIGgivesback #GILLIGCares #HolidayGiving #Stuffabus #ToyDrive #FoodDrive #SeasonofGiving #GILLIGforgood

Townesgiving is more than just a fun day—it’s a celebration of gratitude, school spirit, and community that reflects Franklin Towne’s core values. Here’s why it matters: Encouraging Gratitude: Students are inspired to show appreciation for teachers, staff, and peers, fostering a culture of kindness that benefits everyone. Building Connections: Events like the Student vs. Staff Flag Football Game and the Alumni Turkey Bowl bring together current students and alumni, strengthening the Towne family bond. Engaging Creativity: Fun activities like dressing as Thanksgiving Day floats encourage creativity and self-expression. Family Awareness: With no regular classes, early dismissal, and special activities, it’s essential for families to plan accordingly and support their students’ participation.

Happy Cinco de Mayo, everyone! 🎉 As we celebrate this festive holiday, let's also take a moment to remember the importance of responsible drinking and driving. 🚗🍻 In memory of all those who have lost their lives due to alcohol-related crashes behind the wheel. As Bernalillo is known for A DWI crackdown checkpoint, this isn't just about enforcement - it's about creating a culture of safety and responsibility. 🌟 I want to encourage everyone to make smart choices about drinking and driving. 🍻🚗 So, let's all do our part to make a positive change. If you're planning to drink, make sure you have a designated driver, call a ride-sharing service, or use public transportation. 🚗💺 Let's work together to create a safer, more responsible community for everyone. 🌈💕 #CincodeMayo #DWICrackdown #DrunkDriving #SafetyFirst #Responsibility #PositiveChange

Where did the summer go? A minute ago it was Memorial Day, a second ago it was July 4th, and now it's Labor Day. Gretchen Rubin said, "The days are long, but the years are short." The idea is time passes quickly despite the long days of getting kids ready for school (breakfast, lunches made, dinner when they get home), running around to dance and soccer practices, making a trip to Michael's at 9p for art supplies for the assignment that's due tomorrow, buying a gift for the tenth kindergartner turning six, the dog throwing up and needing to go to the vet, and so on and so forth. Yes, it's true how fast it goes. Molly is 35, Kelly (32) and Jack (21). Where did the time go? Often, I think about those summer days when I was in junior high and high school that went on forever, "the dog days of summer." I counted down days until I could be back in school with my friends wearing my cute, new school clothes, in air-conditioning, and a day filled with activities. Yes, I'm nostalgic. But, Mama, doesn't have time for nostalgia. As I get older, time travels at warp speed. Here are ways to "slow down" time: 1. Breathe. Every time you stop at a stop sign or stoplight, breathe. 2. Be present. What do you smell? What do you hear? What do you feel? What do you taste? What do you see? 3. Be grateful. Write down three things you are grateful for each morning and night. I wish you grand days and long years. M #representationrebellion #embraceyourpower #personaltransformation #selfempowerment #rewriteyourstory #ageisjustanumber #ownyourjourney #communitysupport
