I’ve worked in many *Bookings departments over the years and often witnessed burnout from staff and/or errors made as they’re understaffed for various reasons. So how would you justify the need to bring in a freelance scheduler? The Bookings department is often the last to be recognised in needing extra support when needed. Sad but true as it’s often been said it’s the heart of the company 💔 Reasons why you’d need one: •Short staffed for an upcoming busy period •Holiday cover •Intermediate cover while searching for a replacement role •Needs backup to allow others time to progress and train in other departments •Train up a junior team •Consultancy role to establish a new scheduling dept •Temp cover as your current team is overworked and close to burn out but can’t justify a full time position financially Look after your schedulers. There's an unwritten rule of business that doesn't get talked about often: When you crap on a client or project, word gets out. And it gets out with receipts — especially when you're working in an agency or with other freelancers. Your work ethic (or lack thereof) and professionalism (or lack thereof) speak louder than any marketing tactic. There are VAs, copywriters, designers, and marketers I will never hire because I've seen receipts of their unprofessional behavior and horrible work ethic when another freelancer I know hired them. On the flip side, if you're reliable, do halfway decent work, own up to your mistakes, and never miss a deadline without warning, we ALL want to hire you 😁

A requirement for a role on the project, a busy internal team, and a freelancer saying they're available in LinkedIn...
