#Notifications: Timing is everything! Sending notifications randomly and hoping for the best isn't a strategy. It is something that you need to send at the right time, which will enhance the conversion rate!! Today, I was listening to music on YouTube, I locked my phone and the music suddenly stopped. As soon as I unlocked it, I saw an in-app pop-up suggesting an upgrade to the premium model. Why was this effective? ✅ They identified a user pain point (losing music due to a locked screen). ✅ They offered a relevant solution (premium for uninterrupted listening) at the exact moment of need. By pinpointing user pain points and timing notifications accordingly, we can significantly boost conversion rates (Free -> Premium) and enhance user satisfaction. #Userexperience #Customerengagement #Productmanagement

I was floored by a stat Acquired shared in their Taylor Swift episode equating the music industry’s annual total revenue to that of Best Buy. That makes no sense considering the value music brings to the world. Packy’s write-up outlines a path to addressing that disconnect.

There's a lot of talk about AI videos replacing human creatives, but I resonated a lot with Untitled's approach where technology will make creation better, and enable more people to create. In-App Style Creatives: A short sales message in the notes app, on a Spotify album, in an iMessage, etc. Super organic looking and stand out. Again, your landing page must do the selling for this!

The biggest difference I've seen in the past 6 weeks since DMA started up in EU? Mobile marketers in the US know what DMA stands for (it's Digital Market Act, not related to genetics or DNA) and are paying attention. There is still ambiguity around what it means (blame Apple for muddying the waters), but everyone I've spoken to believes that in the end, it'll have a real + positive impact on margins and mobile growth in Europe and beyond.
