John Maxwell Certified Coach for Professional Chefs. I help Professional Chefs master the crafts of Cooking, Leading, & Competing.

As Executive Chefs, we tread a path that's far from hidden. Have you ever heard the phrase, “Managers live in glass houses.” Our actions, decisions, and the standards we set are under the constant gaze of our teams. Everybody is watching everything that we do as Executive Chefs. This visibility allows us to lead by example. So if there's a standard that we want to execute to then we have to live the standard and show the standard so that people can identify with it, see it in action, and understand that we're going to hold them accountable to it. A positive culture does not arise by chance. It is a reflection of our actions, our values, and our commitment to holding not just our teams but ourselves accountable to the highest standards. If you’re an Executive Chef ready to start becoming a more effective leader, send me a direct message saying INTERESTED for more details about my program, Beyond the Food: Mise en Place for The Executive Chef (Successfully Running your Culinary Operation So It’s NOT Running You).
