Today I received an account about to go to collection, which is a loss for any company. So I took a look to see if there is something to do, I decided to call the customer directly to see what the problem is, the lady on the phone (very nice) explain me the reason for not paying, and guess what?, the only reason was the documentation. 🤦♂️
They didn't ask me for much, just that the information on the invoice and the backup matched (I forgot to mention that I work for a freight company). I started calling the department in charge to get the correct documentation and correct it, it took me about 3 hours to find a solution, I spoke again with the customer and we came to an agreement to pay 90% of the overdue invoices 😎 , and the other, wait until the information matched.
Why do we give up so soon?, everything can be fixed if we have the right attitude to face the problem, the right communication, some people (including me 😅 ) sometimes just don't want to take on a new challenge because we know what a stressful situation it could be, comfort is not the right area to live in, also something companies could teach employees, not only for bunisess, for developing a better lifestyle.
