With all that super-human range, perfect pitch and physical beauty, do you think I will fall in love with that voice and rendition, knowing that I cannot relate with this AI character -- that it does not struggle to reach those high notes, does not feel that "aloneness" in her gut, does not have that vulnerability of being rejected by the audience should she fall half-a-note off-key on "don't want to be all by myself," as she pulls the weight of the word, "anymore?" I would rather listen to my neighbor unconsciously move a vibrato on "heart-breaker" in "Oh, dream-maker, you heart-breaker" (much-shorter range and easier tune "Moon River") because then, I know that my neightbor feels that slight stumble on the lump in her voice moving to and from her soul.
