How do you build a fully functioning MVP for a complex real-world problem in only three days? 🤔 🎯 That was the ambitious goal for the first internal hackathon. Five self-organizing teams collaborated and competed at the same time, each focusing on a different component of the system. 💡 The solution was truly amazing. A mix of down-to-earth processes and creative state-of-the art methods such as GenAI resulted in a solid framework with inspiring features. A big shout-out to all the employees who contributed to this! 🏆 The prize? First of all it was a great team-building experience with a lot of fun and a lot of learnings for everyone. The winning team received a very special prize in addition: They will be invited to this year’s “The AI Conference” in San Francisco, with all expenses covered. 👉 We’ll have more insights to share soon. #Teamwork #DataScience #AI

Last Tuesday, we participated in the GEN AI Hackathon organized by Mesa School of Business. The day before, we attended a workshop led by Satvik Paramkusham , who provided us with a deep understanding of various AI tools and their applications in creating songs, videos, photos, and voiceovers. Satvik Paramkusham 's insights were invaluable as they equipped our team with the knowledge needed for the hackathon. Our project for the hackathon was titled "Life at Mesa," where we had the creative freedom to explore a fictional narrative. We (Chaitanya Sawhney ,Samyak Jain ,Ashwini Naryani ) primarily utilized tools like RunwayML, Replicate, Remaker AI, Suno to create our video . The concept we developed was a humorous and dark tale about four killers from different walks of life who converge at Mesa. By day, they sell cereals; by night, they teach others how to become serial killers. The final product was a 3.5-minute video that included a song we created using Suno. Below is a snippet of the video.
