Craig Randall’s Post

"We believe in the power of second chances and the profound impact of giving back." This is part of what The Furgiving Foundation is all about. How did I find out about TFF? This is my first semester working as an adjunct professor of business affiliated with Lewis Clark State College (Lewiston, ID), instructing specifically via their Prison Ed program. As part of our Foundations of Management Theory course (Business 311), I work with incarcerated individuals across three facilities in Idaho. One of my students founded an incredible non-profit that trains and provides service dogs to those in need at no charge. He manages the training of the service dogs "on the inside." Overall, my experience with LCSC and the Prison Ed program has made me want to do more and continue educating here. As is often the case in the classroom--virtual or in-person--I've become a student, too. This role of yours, working with the incarcerated, Craig, spurred a tear in my eye. This is where it's at my friend... This is why I wrote the testimony I wrote for you. In spite of anything, I know you to be this good human deep in your heart.
