Commercial Carnival and Art Exhibition: Nurturing Collaboration & Celebrating Creativity at LCCI At LCCI, we understand that a strong and connected community fuels organizational success. Thus, curated activities and events are hosted throughout the year where employees can connect, collaborate, and have fun. There’s always a buzz around something exciting happening at LCCI! The Commercial Carnival, led by the commercial operations teams, and the Canvas Chronicles Art Exhibition, organized by the research and statistics departments, are a testament to this commitment. The Commercial Carnival featured activities like Escape the Room, AI-themed collage making, and Trade-a-thon (a stock market simulation), promoting cross-functional collaboration. We also celebrated India’s rich cultural heritage with vibrant decorations of our workspaces, traditional dance performances and crafts, while raising funds through the Food & Handicrafts Fair, providing over 10,500 meals to underprivileged children. The Canvas Chronicles Art Exhibition was another beautifully curated event, where our colleagues showcased their artistic talents, inspiring creativity across the organization. These initiatives are built on our values of cultivating an inclusive, engaged, and motivated workforce, driving LCCI forward with collaboration and excellence. #EmployeeEngagement #Teamwork #Creativity #WeAreLilly

“This is gold, Mr. Bond. All my life, I've been in love with its colour, its brilliance, its divine heaviness.” – Auric Goldfinger Happy 60th Birthday, Goldfinger! As one of the most iconic Bond villains to have ever crossed paths with 007, Goldfinger’s ambitious Operation Grand Slam saw him BREAKING GROUND in an attempt to smuggle 18-carat gold from England, across Europe and into Switzerland. Frequently touted as Bond’s best outing (although who are we to start a fight in that regard?!), the film’s stand-out star was the 1937 Rolls-Royce Phantom III Sedanca de Ville that was driven by Oddjob as part of the heist. Here’s a #throwback to a film we made about the world’s foremost fictional spy, celebrating the 50th anniversary of “Goldfinger” and the incredible craftsmanship that goes into every James Bond movie masterpiece – https://lnkd.in/ezx85g5X [Image credits of “Goldfinger” © 1964 Danjaq, LLC and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. Recently, Barcelona hosted a stunning Louis Vuitton fashion show. However, the event was marred by numerous protesters opposing such high-profile gatherings in the city. This highlights a recurring issue with Barcelona—despite its beauty and cultural significance, the city often faces resistance when hosting major events. On the other hand, Madrid stands out as a more welcoming and prepared option. The people of Madrid, representing the broader spirit of Spain, embrace these prestigious events. Madrid's infrastructure, international connectivity, and experience with large-scale gatherings make it an ideal candidate. While I have many good friends who are Catalan and appreciate Barcelona's unique charm, I believe Madrid is the better choice for future high-profile events. The recent happenings in Barcelona only reinforce this view. For now, Madrid's readiness and enthusiasm give it a significant edge as Europe's preferred destination for major events. I heard Dame Sarah Storey’s incredible story of winning gold on Radio 4 this morning. Clare Balding, who was described as "leading the coverage of the Paralympics," quickly corrected that description—she shone a light on her team, emphasising the talent we don’t often see. For example, those signing to her co-host and how differing talents in the broader team contribute to new thinking. It was a reminder that even the best performances rely on the collective effort of others. True professionals recognise that their finest work happens with the support of a great team. As I stand at the Mall Galleries today, exhibiting my photography, I’m reminded that this moment wasn’t achieved alone. From the framers to the organisers, the gallery staff, and my mentors and supporters, everyone behind the scenes has played an essential part in bringing this exhibition to life. In business, as in photography or professional speaking, success is rarely the result of a single person’s effort. By acknowledging the contributions of those around us, we inspire loyalty and elevate the quality of the work. When everyone feels valued, they bring their best performance, and that energy drives success for all. It's crucial to understand the consequences of overlooking the contributions of our team members. Failing to acknowledge their efforts leads to disengagement, missed opportunities, and a decline in trust. A thriving business, like a masterpiece, requires every detail, every effort, and every team member working in harmony. Each is a vital part of this puzzle; without their contributions, even the brightest stars struggle to shine. Masters shine the light on those who make what they do possible. Like Clare Balding, they don't allow the limelight to pool only around them; they turn every spotlight into a floodlight. #Collaboration #Teamwork #Exhibition #BusinessLessons #PhotographyExhibition #ProfessionalSpeaking #mallgalleries

🙏🏼 APPRECIATION POST 🙏🏼 🙏🏼 I have been truly blessed with some of the most amazing teams in my career; this one is no different. 🙏🏼 Leading teams in different states can be so challenging - from consistency to culture there are numerous factors that simply put - are difficult. But I was so gracious when Wax Center Partners approved my request to bring Carissa Rodriguez from Santa Clarita, CA to Vegas for 2 days. 🙏🏼 …and what better time than the present to do the viral #AwkwardPhotoshoot at Jc Penny? Without question or hesitation, they flew into character and we now have these, and many more, memories to cherish forever. 🙏🏼 If you’re wondering what the ROI on these bonding moments are - absolutely priceless. If you’re weighing options for in-person meetings in 2025, please lean in. Please allow your teams the opportunity to bond in person, to grow their relationships together faster and stronger in person and I promise you’ll see it in your business over and over again. 🙏🏼 It may not happen overnight, but those in-person gatherings change your team for the better each and every time. They need it. And you can’t afford not to do it. Help us reinvigorate and bring innovation to this industry!! 🎥 Meet Giuseppe, the Last Great Tailor of Long Island 🎥 I haven’t met Giuseppe myself (yet!), but his story is AMAZING. He's crafted suits and ties for everyone from Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to Warren Buffet. Not everyone can afford Giuseppe's magic 🎩 , but tailors are for everyone at every level. Tailoring and repair ARE NOT going away. Despite technological advances in manufacturing and design, the need for skilled craftspeople and post-purchase services remains crucial. But how do we ensure it lasts for the future? In the film, Giuseppe notes, "There are no tailors left. We're not getting help anymore." If we don't support these skills now, they will deplete. While new solutions may emerge, the expertise of seasoned tailors supporting innovative designers is irreplaceable. 🧵 Alterations and repairs are integral to brand services, boosting profitability and adhering to forthcoming circularity regulations. Modern consumers prioritize both sustainability and personalization, making these skills and this offering indispensable. 🛠️Brands like UNIQLO, Patagonia, Levi Strauss & Co., and AllSaints are among the few offering in-store repair services, recognizing their immense and lasting value. 🎓Thousands of designers graduate every year. Not all will be the next Marc Jacobs, but the industry offers SO MANY GREAT opportunities. There’s a growing movement in this space driven by consumers, brands, and even TikTok and Instagram for the next generation of artisans to thrive. 💡 That's why it's so important for us at Alternew to bridge the gap between tradition and modern needs. By leveraging technology, we streamline services and connect traditional skills with modern consumer demands supporting all brands both with and without internal services. ✅ PS - If you've made it through my long-winded diatribe, then this probably resonates with you. You might have a family member who was a seamstress or a favorite tailor who's retiring soon. Would love to hear your story! ✅ PPS - If anyone is looking for a way to support the future of this industry, we just happen to be fundraising and are passionate about helping today's tailors thrive and the next generation scale! Saint Laurent is taking a smart approach to engagement with its new narrative short film series "As Time Goes By" (trailer below), inspired by Marcel Proust's novel "In Search of Lost Time". As Mark Wittmer explains in The Impression, YSL "can release the films on a fixed schedule, whether it’s once a week or once a month, thus constantly sustaining excitement, engagement, cohesion, and connectivity over a consistent cadence. Each short film, moreover, can be a content engine of its own, as the brand can share individual teasers, behind-the-scenes clips, interviews with each star with their own set of imagery, and more across social media in the lead up to each release." The films and film series I make for clients are typically driven by the same strategy, which I sometimes summarize as "re-use through modularity, repetition without boredom". Done correctly, films can punch well above their weight in a brand's campaign plan. https://lnkd.in/eMRAFawb #fashion #fashionmarketing #contentmarketing #video #film #iangarrickmason
