Recently, I invested in a new smartwatch enticed by its advertised battery life. While it performed as promised, I couldn't resist maximizing its potential. With a simple setting adjustment, I was astounded by the results – Yes!!! an unexpected threefold increase in battery longevity! This experience served as a powerful reminder: In life, even the smallest changes can yield monumental outcomes. Let's learn from this lesson and unlock the potential for greatness in every aspect of our lives. if you want to make that one change, what is that? please share in the comment... Happy learning #coachvenkat #lifelessons #lifelonglearning

Just do it for yourself. It's been almost a 400-day gap since my last run. This is my longest run after a year, and I did it for myself. But things didn't go smoothly. My prediction of the route went wrong, confusing me during the run. I ran on the beach road but forgot to consider the wind speed, which slowed my pace. "Obstacles are the uninvited guests." My GPS accuracy was lost, and my smartwatch betrayed 😖 me as its sync stopped after 4:51 km. But I never lost hope. I kept telling myself to do it, not for others, but for me. You can achieve when you have a don't-give-up attitude. After 1 hour and 17 minutes of struggle, I completed my 10 km run. I entered my 20s with this pain. After the run, I saw lots of sweat mixed with salt 🏖 . The beach wind made salt stick to my hands. "The great joy in suffering. That's true. #personalgrowth #personaldevelopment

May is Stroke Awareness Month Memory has been affected for me. Short-term, not long-term. I've put reminders in place to mitigate this. Retractable key chain to ensure I have house keys with me. Wipe boards for visual prompts. Timer on my smartwatch. Alexa alerts and reminders. It takes me longer but I process matters more More Plan in PDCA More Define in DMAIC Like riding a bicycle. Initial peddling results in wobbliness, until reaching momentum. It has not stopped me from passing exams but needed to work harder. #RebuildingLives #StrokeAwarenessMonth

🔍 Master's degree IT Project: Evaluating Smartwatch Accuracy using R Programming I analyzed the accuracy of smartwatches in measuring pulse rates using box plots to assess: - Median: Accuracy level (close to 0 = better). - IQR: Consistency of measurements. - Outliers & Mean: Identifying errors and data skew. Key findings: Fitbit Charge 5 and Garmin Forerunner 55 showed high accuracy; Huawei B7 had more variability and outliers. #DataScience #Smartwatch #Accuracy #PulseRate #Visualization #BoxPlot #Statistics #TechResearch

Ever got sweaty hands before an exam? That's an example of electrodermal activity, or EDA. A new real world study condicted with Google Pixel Watch 2 and 3 and Fitbit Sense 2 (with informed consent) shows that EDA changes pretty significantly during the day, in the weekend, and as a result of stressful events (positive and negative). Additionally, in a consented study, individuals with depression showed different values of EDA vs the control group. https://lnkd.in/dwrbCZEd

if you don’t find the time to do it right, you’ll find the time to do it twice
1wBeing an absolute garmin fan, this watch is out of any acceptance. Annual fee is one of factors, so in 2 years you pay for lte even higher price then a watch, but that would be fine if you had not only walkie-talkie function... I can track my kid, and send some voice messages but no calls. And in roaming that lagged and set my kid in panic. So if I had a chance to talk to me in the past, I wouldn't recommend to buy it. eSIM would be much smarter, and battery life just one day - really?
