Lankford's stance makes it clear: instead of prioritizing real solutions for border security, the Republicans are playing political games, even with something they claim would solve the issue. His refusal to collaborate with Democrats exposes their real agenda—they’d rather keep the problem alive to use as a political weapon than work on genuine, bipartisan solutions. This is exactly why the filibuster is so dangerous.
