It appears like the path for AI innovation going forward will be tightly coupled with cybersecurity/security at the forefront. According to a Feb 2024 ICS2 study 88% of cybersecurity professionals believe that AI will significantly impact their jobs within the next couple of years.

But, as these systems blur the lines between the physical and digital worlds, they also open a Pandora's box of security challenges.
