Sometimes I forget how impactful email marketing is. Not this past week though. At Braze Forge, email marketing was THE most exciting topic to chat about. I caught myself frequently mentioning this case study with Clinikally (YC S22). Look at that number: 71% revenue increase. Not open rates. Not CTR. REVENUE. It's insane how what seems like a tiny little change can make such a colossal impact. In this case, the tiny little change was: - Clinikally turned their lifecycle emails into interactive shopping experiences Ok, I get it. Why don't more marketing emails have a CTA to star ⭐ the message ? I recently learned that the easiest way to have your marketing emails land in the primary inbox instead of the promotions tab is to have your customers star the email. Coming from Attentive's Thread Summit last week, their team had a huge emphasis on deliverability, which means everything for email marketers. They've put together an impressive team and product to make sure that your emails and promotions are being delivered to the primary inbox. I know Klaviyo is often the elephant in the room, but if Attentive can leverage better deliverability, most other features are secondary in my opinion. #email #marketing
