Solution: Create your own narrative. - Lay down to your team the 2 or 3 macro-projects in a time period - Make clear the scope of them and time it will take until they see something - Set up open office hours or biweeklies to receive "tickets" - If not communicated as an ask, don't work on it "I just found" or "quick thing" are things you should immediately shield upon hearing them. If they're not in line with the strategy and the world is not on fire, there's a way to get to it on due time and form 😉
