Future Vertical Lift Cross Functional Team’s Post

The #FVLCFT bid a fond farewell to Mr. Chris Manning, Senior Operations Research Analyst (Australian ESEP), on December 18th. Brig. Gen. Cain Baker, Director of the Future Vertical Lift Cross Functional Team, presented Mr. Manning with a commemorative plaque in recognition of his outstanding contributions and dedication to the team during his time with them. In a heartfelt gesture of appreciation, Mr. Manning reciprocated with a special gift to the Cross Functional Team. He presented Brig. Gen. Baker with a traditional Australian Slouch Hat, a iconic symbol of Australian military heritage, on behalf of the team. The hat, which originated with the Victorian Mounted Rifles of the Australian Army in 1885, was accompanied by three Australian unit coins, representing the Army Aviation Command, the Defense Science and Technology Group, and Mr. Manning's last command. The team will deeply miss Mr. Manning's expertise and camaraderie when he and his family return to Australia early next year. His contributions and friendship have made a lasting impact, and we wish him and his family all the best as they return home to Australia.
