For The Record (FTR)’s Post

Although virtual and hybrid hearings enhance the accessibility of justice, certain obstacles must be addressed to maintain their effectiveness and inclusivity. This publication from the National Center for State Courts (NCSC) outlines specific instances of updates to courthouses and other venues to accommodate hybrid hearings. In slides 5-6, the NCSC details the implementation of For The Record technology at Mohave County Superior Court in Kingman, Arizona. The slides document the technology's ability to improve hybrid hearings by seamlessly managing both in-person and digital components. This includes the capturing and monitoring of audio and video recordings for comprehensive and accessible court records.
