Feels great to be back on 2 wheels after about 4 years without! I wanted to remind people who might be getting back on bikes after years the top 5 things to keep in mind! 1. Always wear the right gear no matter what. Going on a long ride with a group? Suit up. Just going to the gas station? Suit up. 2. Get proper training and experience. You don't have to act like a hot shot to impress anybody. Always go back to basics while warming up. 3. Regularly maintain your sport bike. Every time you get ready to go on a ride, do an inspection and do another one when you get off. Always smart to make sure you are in good working condition because if not it could cost you an accident. 4. Anticipate other drivers' actions. You have to be vigilant! I have had people look right at me and seemingly look through me. Louder is better and I always ride with my high beams on just to stand out more. 5. Follow traffic rules and signals. This should always be a given.
