Is the that the default behavior in teams is to initiate a notification for meetings? It appears once you are invited to a meeting you are included in the chatroom and new messages become notifications. Is there really no way to disable this behavior? Start an instant, 🎧 audio-first meeting from within your conversations with new #GoogleChat huddles! 💬✨ Powered by #GoogleMeet, huddles enable quick, real-time collaboration directly within the Chat interface, eliminating the need to leave the conversation and open a meeting in another tab. They are available in all conversation types – direct messages, group messages and 🚀 spaces – and can be particularly useful when you need to quickly sync with your colleagues about a project you are currently discussing in Chat. Huddles start as audio-only by default, but you can enable your 📹 video at any time during the conversation. You can also ↔ resize or drag the huddle window, share your 💻 screen, use 🌄 virtual backgrounds and send 😀 emoji reactions. When someone has requested you to join a huddle, there will be an invitation chip in the message stream. You can join an active huddle either from within the conversation itself or from your conversation list in the left-hand navigation menu. 💡 If you want to switch from a huddle to a Google Meet call, simply click the button in the top-right corner of the huddle window to open a new tab containing the active call.
