Conducting a reconnaissance drone flight with a simple drone before actual crop spraying is crucial for several reasons: 1. Crop Health Assessment: The reconnaissance drone flight allows for an initial assessment of crop health, enabling identification of areas that require more attention or special treatment. 2. Field Mapping: The drone flight helps create a detailed map of the field, including terrain, obstacles, and crop density, ensuring effective planning and execution of the spraying operation. 3. Spray Pattern Optimization: By analyzing the field conditions and crop health, the reconnaissance drone flight data can be used to optimize the spray pattern, ensuring even coverage and minimizing waste. 4. Wind and Weather Conditions: The drone flight provides real-time data on wind direction, speed, and other weather conditions, enabling adjustments to the spraying plan to minimize drift and ensure optimal application. 5.
