Eeeeeey I'll be speaking at this! Talking about how #OpenTelemetry and Checkly can work together to give you a total picture of how your systems work. Come join me! 4/25 in SF cc: Daniel Kim Prathamesh Sonpatki
For all my #opentelemetry friends and self proclaimed wizards/witches - Middleware is hosting an SF Bay Area meetup at our office at the end of this month! (4/25) Come talk about all things Telemetry data - from scaling dozen of PiB capable infra, how to solve real problems with real data, and find out where the market is going. Also, I'm not going to succumb to LinkedIn algorithm gaming, so the link goes in this post rather than the top comment. If it finds you then you were meant to be found. 💓 https://lu.ma/vmpc0fpf PS. we're still taking submissions for presenters, but as always we like to prioritize conversations over presentations and keep the talking at to a minimum #observability #sf

Over the last four months, we have been navigating confusion and many ambiguities regarding what we should do next. We found ourselves with access to a ton of talent and had to figure out where to put it and how to leverage it to create an environment of value and impact. Promoting technical innovation and skill development is still at the core of what we do. Still, we needed to figure out a business strategy and introduce changes to what we focus on, how we operate and deliver--to better serve the talent, companies, organizations, communities, and our team--in a sustainable way that brings forth the most value and impact out of our work. And that required time! As someone said, "If you build a business right, you don't have to build it again. Taking time is often the fastest way to get what you want." We believe this to be true in this initial stage where we are figuring out things--more so true when it comes to stretching our creative minds and challenging boundaries and status quo to best serve the people and create lasting value and impact. Today, we are announcing changes and new offerings and are gearing up for launch; we are inviting all existing friends of CodeXtreme, hackers, and tech enthusiasts to take part in this survey and product announcement to learn about the new direction we are taking as a company and provide their valuable feedback and perspectives that will influence our decisions for the better. To incentivize the survey and show our appreciation for your time, we are giving away 10$ in cash or worth of pizza to one lucky survey participant through a raffle. If you want a reminder of how incredible our first launch event was, kindly check here: https://lnkd.in/dqhupZmn Take the time to fill out the survey here: https://lnkd.in/dHS-F2v3 To learn more in details about we are working on, please have a sneak peek at our 2.0 Manifesto here for more details: https://lnkd.in/dWACJWjV P.S: More details are included along with these new changes and will be reflected soon on our website.

let's contribute open source. Have you registered for it or not? Hacktoberfest is DigitalOcean’s annual event that encourages people to contribute to open source throughout October. Much of modern tech infrastructure—including some of DigitalOcean’s own products—relies on open-source projects built and maintained by passionate people who often don’t have the staff or budgets to do much more than keep the project alive. Hacktoberfest is all about giving back to those projects, sharpening skills, and celebrating all things open source, especially the people that make open source so special. #hacktoberfest #opensource
I got the Hacktoberfest 2024: Registered badge from Hacktoberfest!

Ideal for academic research: to modify the physical models and still have the ease of use and numerical stability of commercial software.
It is time for a new Lifehack! - Do you know OpenLabs™? OpenLabs™ combines the flexibility of an open-source code with the ease of use and numerical stability of commercial software. In today's Lifehack, we will introduce the possibilities and the basic approach. As an example, we use the detection of the surge limit for a radial compressor.
