Poor customer service and lower-level corporate positions, especially in healthcare, that involve power abuse will be the first to be replaced by large language models (LLMs). And don’t let the door hit you on the way out; nobody will miss you. If your rudeness and elitism make it more profitable for companies to replace you with a robot, consider examining your own personality flaws. Despite your attitude of having perfect job security, some of you may be career-less in five years. From a customer’s perspective, it’s hard not to agree. You might feel secure until big pharma starts lobbying for LLMs to obtain medical licenses. Maybe you should do better than a robot by realizing the only thing you TRULY offer is humanity. Recently there's been developments in AI driven systems that can do 100% of the production side of things which is, direct audio operate, and graphic operate - all of those jobs are all now gone in one swoop. This has apparently been developed by the company Q ai. For the last decade I've worked in local news and have garnered skills I thought I would be able to take with me until retirement, now at almost 30 years old, all those job opportunities are gone in an instant.
