💡 For the last 10 years, I've had the privilege to travel across the globe and attend some truly remarkable events dedicated to innovation. And yes, when it comes to pushing the boundaries of tech and innovation in Bulgaria, #Webit has consistently stood out.
Although my time yesterday was limited, I was fortunate enough to have brief yet inspiring chats with two individuals whose work I genuinely admire.
Ana Luísa Alves presented the AI-on-Demand Platform, showcasing how it's fueling AI research and innovation across Europe. She also shared how F6S innovation is playing a pivotal role in empowering startups and innovators with their expertise.
Ronny Fehling dove deep into how organizations can fully harness GenAI for radical transformation, sharing some concrete and thought-provoking examples. And no, #GenAI is not a miracle engine that promises to put early adopters on the track to greater efficiencies, lower costs, and quick wins.
Thank you, Ana Luísa Alves and Ronny Fehling!
At No Limit , with more than 50 AI-related projects under our belt, we’ve witnessed firsthand the transformative power of this technology, even in today’s sluggish economy (maybe not quite on the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) scale, but still impactful!). Leveraging GenAI to its full potential is not just a trend. It’s vital for companies striving to drive innovation and enhance productivity while staying competitive in the fast-evolving digital landscape.
That said, my true passion has always been startups— at the end of the day that's where innovation usually starts. I was only able to catch a glimpse of the magic that Podeo | بوديو does, and am thrilled I had the chance to dive into AI4Debunk at the F6S Innovation’s booth. There’s something incredibly exciting about how these startups are shaping the future with bold ideas and AI-powered solutions!
P.S. And guys, we can also use AI just for fun. So, I decided to use a relatively new platform: Pika. So, if you ask yourself how I turned my picture to be squashed like plasticine, try the platform yourself; you won't miss!

Thanks Julia French and David Lt (Lillo-Trynes) for the opportunity to join Elizabeth Henderson, Lou Conway and Wayne O'Brien on a panel about the future of Aussie AI today, as part of Spark Festival 2024. TL;DR: I think it's going to be a net positive for Australia and the Australian tech startup industry.
Our economy is mostly knowledge and service industries of various kinds, which can all benefit from reducing the friction of acquiring, onboarding and maintaining customer relationships that AI offers. It promises to help health, education and social services providers to increase quality of service provision to rural and regional Australia. And it lowers the knowledge and talent bar that restricts many people from considering a career in the startup industry.
Want to be better prepared to take advantage of these changes? I'd suggest you investigate the new UNE Grad Certificate in AI Innovation: https://lnkd.in/gRGFMGK5

Last Friday, we had the Final Day of the Validation Lab, during which the 6 startups that followed our 10-week program pitched their ideas in front of a jury and received valuable feedback.
All of them had different journeys, and some even changed their business concept after collecting data from potential customers.
We are beyond proud to be able to help and connect early-stage startups with our network, which helps them grow their startups into successful tech companies.
If you want to validate your tech idea, apply now via this link: https://lnkd.in/evJAvkj2
Deadline: 10th of April.

Great news for the European AI startup ecosystem.
In the past years, more and more VC firms have backed startups like Mistral AI, Poolside, Photoroom and Wayve.
𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐤𝐞𝐲 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭:
- Collectively, European AI companies have doubled in value to $508 billion since 2020.
- 349,000 people worked in AI companies this year, a 168% increase since 2020.
It's time to stop seeing Europe as a simple add-on to the US market.
The ecosystem is getting stronger and stronger every year.
“AI will touch everything we do eventually. We need leaders from across industries, functions and companies to challenge the status quo, encourage experimentation, and drive partnerships. That is when positive change happens. It is great to be in an active partnership with the firm on one of the most important topics of our generation.” - Betsy Ziegler, CEO of 1871.
Startups in Chicago's 1871 tech incubator are harnessing the power of AI to meet pressing challenges - from cancer care, to public safety, to future of work. Read about how McKinsey colleagues helped them develop ideas and scale their businesses through the AI Innovation Lab.
