Do not step on the cross supports ❌ ♦️Do not overload mobile scaffolds. ♦️Move the mobile scaffold only by manually pushing or pulling from the base.. ♦️Remember to lock the wheels when the towers are in use.. ♦️No person or material is allowed to remain on a moving scaffold while it is being transported. ♦️ Finally, do not extend from the work platform because it may lead to the scaffold tilting.

Doing stuff oneself I think is so important to understanding how buildings go together, and why sometimes they don't work. Case in point... my entrance lobby at home... starting point: half skin brick (1954 build, no insulation, compromised DPC, roots growing through the floor, well... truth be told water coming through floor and ponding!) Now, new DPC (Dry-rods) intenal "finishes" removed, new landscape drain added, to decrease water pressure, new painted DPM added, roof structure partly renewed, batten, foil and batten added in readiness for insulated gypsumboard linings... not perfect, but a million miles better than the starting point... and yes... the front door will being going...

Seen a couple of similar posts about this. At first glance this piece of timber looks to be free of mould growth, however with proper lighting and angles we can see visible growth that needs further remediation before PRV. When we point the torch straight directly at the timber, it all looks good, however we shine the torch along the timber on an angle and it tells a different story. This highlights the importance of carrying a good torch with you as a Restoration technician and understanding how to use the tools we have on hand to be more thorough on mould jobs. Little details makes a world of difference.
