🌟 A Respectful Exit: The Importance of Professionalism During Resignation🌟 In the world of work, resignations are a natural part of any career journey. However, it’s crucial to remember that resignation should not turn an employee into an adversary. Every employee deserves a respectful exit, regardless of the circumstances. We must prioritize professionalism and kindness, especially during the notice period. Let’s commit to fostering an environment where departing employees are treated with dignity and respect. Together, we can create a culture that values every individual, even as they move on to new opportunities. #Respect #Professionalism #EmployeeExperience #Leadership

🎢 The Rollercoaster Ride Called HR: My Journey So Far At the beginning of my career in HR, I thought that the job was only done when people were hired, fired, and boring paperwork was worked on (oh, those days were so naïve!). Instead, I discovered quite a few things along the way and it has been an adventure I would not exchange for anything. The Early Days: I thought everything was in the bag, Interviewer questions, and answers, contracts and agreements, onboarding checklists. All that and even more I had to learn about matchmaking and to what. People, it’s finding the right people for the right reasons. The Reality Check: Then came the "fun" part listening to hundreds of stories, mediating conflicts that could rival any courtroom drama, and learning that empathy is not just a skill, it's a superpower. The Breakthrough: At some point, it clicked: HR isn't about processes; it’s about people. It’s about making sure your employees feel seen, heard, and valued. From celebrating birthdays to solving career dilemmas, I’ve worn many hats, some that weren’t in the job description, but are now my favorite part of the job. The Creativity Part: Along the way, I've learned to get creative with how I communicate. I stopped talking "HR jargon" and started speaking in ways that resonate, with humor, with honesty, and most importantly, with heart.✨ 🛤️ The Road Ahead: The journey isn't over. HR continues to evolve, and so do I. As long as there are people, there will always be challenges, but also endless opportunities to make a difference. To all my fellow HR professionals: Keep riding the rollercoaster with a smile, a sense of humor, and a never-ending supply of empathy. #HRJourney #LifeInHR #PeopleFirst #EmpathyInAction #CareerGrowth #LeadershipWithHeart #peoplemangment #worklifebalance #HR

🌟 Grateful and Proud to Be in HR! 🌟 I've been working in the HR field for years, and I truly feel blessed and happy with my job. Recently, I was honored as Employee of the Month, and it's a moment of pride for me. Although I've been with this company for just over a year, I take immense pride in knowing that my team and management are happy with my contributions. As an HR professional, it's incredibly rewarding to see my team feel comfortable with me and consider me a well-wisher rather than an obstacle. I know that on social media, we often see content where staff express frustration with their HR departments, but I feel overwhelmed with gratitude every time I see my team smile and feel at ease. I believe that when your team is comfortable and happy with you, and you truly understand and fulfill their needs, it feels like you're succeeding in your role. There's no better measure of success than a team that trusts you. Choosing HR was one of the best decisions I ever made. Even though it can be exhausting at times, the joy it brings me is unmatched. What about you? How do you feel about your HR team? Am I right, or do you have a different perspective? I’d love to hear your thoughts! 💬 ❤️ #HRProud #EmployeeOfTheMonth #HumanResources #HRLife #GratefulHeart #WorkplaceCulture #Leadership #Teamwork #JobSatisfaction #CareerJourney #ProudHR #WorkLifeBalance #HRCommunity

🌟 Celebrating 11 Years in HR! 🌟 On September 16th, 2013, I took my first step into the world of HR, and what a wild ride it’s been! From my first day to today, I’ve had the privilege of working with amazing teams, learning from inspiring mentors, and growing both professionally and personally. Over the past 11 years, I’ve: Facilitated countless recruitments, helping talented individuals find their perfect roles (and occasionally playing matchmaker for office coffee machines and their perfect corners). Implemented innovative HR strategies that have enhanced workplace culture and productivity (because who doesn’t love a good team-building exercise involving marshmallows and spaghetti?). Supported employee development, ensuring everyone has the tools and opportunities to succeed (and reminding them that “Ctrl+Z” is their best friend). Navigated challenges and celebrated successes, always striving to make a positive impact (and perfecting the art of the “HR smile” during tough conversations). As Ken Robinson wisely said, "Human resources are like natural resources; they’re often buried deep. You have to go looking for them; they’re not just lying around on the surface." I’m grateful for every experience, every lesson, and every person who has been part of this journey. Here’s to many more years of growth, learning, and making a difference in the world of HR! Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way. Let’s continue to achieve great things together! 🚀 #HRJourney #CareerMilestone #ProfessionalGrowth #Gratitude

HeaRtfelt.... I worked for an organization once wherein any resignation that came to the CEO was replied to like" Let them go; its ok; they aren't HAPPY so over and out". Me- You sure don’t you want to retain them? Him- "Naz if they are not happy, no matter what we do they will resign. I'm sure you would have already tried to retain them post which it's coming to me." Those words that hit me then and even hit me now. Yes, I know retention is a part; in-fact all of what we do for enhancing employee experiences; however, no surprises that even if we touch the moon and back for them, some people will 'leave' no matter what! So, what did we do- Let them Go and let them go HAPPY 😊 How did we achieve this: 1) The CEO used to write a personal note for each exit employee on Workplace and he did this for ALL employees. The note was emotional, impactful and wishing them a successful career ahead and that our doors were open if they want to come back. 2) We as HR ensured that the employee gets their F & F cheque on their 'last working day' and we made this happen 😊 3) We indeed kept our doors open and provided them with any support or assistance even if we were no longer their HR (YES) I have many colleagues here including myself who have been grateful to be a part of such an organization where actions spoke louder than employee policies stating them and I’m sure they are smiling reading this! Share some of your best exit experiences fam! #enhancingexperiences #employeefirst #sassyhrlady

You can replace a role, but never a soul✨ In the workplace, roles and titles may change hands, but the relationships, experiences, and contributions of each person remain unmatched. It’s not the position that defines the person, but the person who defines the position🌟 #jobposition #jobrole #replacement #value #officethings #workplace #hr #job #team #employee #dedication #workenvironment

Do you agree that HR is a thankless job? An HR leader whom I had the privilege to get in touch with does not! She had always heard that HR was a thankless job, but she didn’t believe it for a second. Every day, she goes to work with a clear sense of purpose: to 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆’𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗮 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘁 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱. While others saw HR as a behind-the-scenes role, she saw it as the heart of the organization. She understood that fostering a positive culture could transform the company, making it more vibrant and connected. So, she focused on building trust, listening to employees, and advocating for their needs. She does not seek words of gratitude, but delights in the changes she sees in the organization as she leads their HR team: 👉 Teams are collaborating better. 👉 Employees were more engaged. 👉 The office has a newfound energy. 👉 People felt safe to share their ideas and concerns, knowing they will be heard. Every smile she saw, every team that thrived, confirmed her belief that HR is not thankless — it is rewarding. For her, the real thanks came in the form of a better workplace, and that was more than enough. #HumanResources #HRStories #HRRewards #HeRoes #ʙᴇɴᴇfitsguy ▂ ▂ ▂ ▂ ▂ Come & get to know me: https://lnkd.in/d_vy6qq

Ever feel like you are giving 110%, but the recognition? Zero. This video is the ultimate mood! If you are nodding along, you are not alone. We all know retention is not just about the paycheck - it is about feeling valued. When employees are appreciated, they are more likely to stick around and bring their A-game. When employees feel valued, they stay longer, work harder, and might even skip the angry rants (or not 😂). If recognition was as consistent as the workload, imagine the difference it could make. What is the best way your workplace shows appreciation? Drop it in the comments! #jobsearch #jobs #workplacehumour #employeeappreciation #jobopportunity #jobopening #jobopportunities #jobseekers #careeropportunities #careerdevelopment #CareerGrowth #professionaldevelopment #hr #careeradvice #resumehelp #networking #careeradvancement #resume #careerstrategy

📰 People are talking about another Great Resignation happening, but not everyone's on board with the idea. Some of the experts think workers may start quitting their jobs again because they're not too happy with their current roles. The whole thing hinges on factors like: 💰 The Economy ⚖ Job Satisfaction 👨💼 The Right Talent. In some places, it seems like folks are keeping their seats and waiting to see how things play out. Regardless of whether a big job-switching wave is on the horizon, experts agree that keeping employees engaged and invested in their work is super important. Companies can also focus on training and supporting managers, which can make a big difference in talent retention. So, whether we are rolling into the Great Resignation 2.0 or not, it looks like we really need to focus on engagement in the workplace. Given the uncertainty about potential mass resignations, having access to a wider pool of talent and expertise in finding the right employees could be really beneficial for businesses trying to navigate these choppy waters. We listen, and we DO judge. Corporate wild behavior edition: 🟣 Companies letting employees go right before the Holidays. 🟣 Organizations implementing mandatory RTO "for the culture" and "for better collaboration." 🟣 Hiring Managers making offer decisions based on vibes. 🟣 Companies that don't share the salary band on their job posting. 🟣 5+ rounds of interviews. 🟣 SHRM followers. 🟣 Organizations with unlimited - but not mandatory - PTO policies. 🟣 DEI backtrackers. What am I missing? What corporate behaviors will we be judging *hard* in 2025? 👋🏻 If your organization is ready to grow with intention and build equitable, people-first workplaces, let’s talk! I help companies create intentionally inclusive cultures.
