Strengthen your social connections, your daily routine to gain confidence one day at a time. Security in life; The state of being secure, assured freedom from poverty and want.  Security blanket, Safer community- We all have a basic human need to feel safe; If you feel secure, you feel safe and happy and are not worried about life. Security is a feeling of certainty that everything is OK and that all your basic needs will be provided for. A person and thing that secures, guarantees, on the surface there's nothing to worry about. Security is a feeling of certainty that everything is OK and that all your basic needs will be provided for. A small child will sometimes latch onto a blanket that gives him or her the feeling of security. TIME2 CARE. We need to feel secure in order to do well at work, Children need to feel secure in order to do well at school. TIMESHARE. “People Before Products”. Secure is for people to know that they are personally responsible for their behavior. They understand what personal accountability means and make decisions based on what is best for themselves and their families. They understand locus of control-what they can and cannot alter for an intended outcome. Intent- Full circle of life; Secure implies action taken to guard against fear and loss. TIME makes things sure. assure, ensure, and insure.  TIME is secure. TIME is a way to secure security.

Today is LOAD day. That means my household goods (HHG) go on a moving truck today. **We’ve moved 3 of the past 4 summers. This is the third move in just 36 months.** My load team doesn’t start until after lunch, so I’m at elementary school celebrations with our oldest. (He is leaving his 4th school as he finishes 5th grade). Just to the left of this picture is 100 kids yelling and laughing and bowling and loving their last days together- many of whom are also military kids. **Our story is not unique. It’s like so many of our peers.** When I #advocate for quality of life for #militaryfamilies, I’m advocating for moments of stability and normalcy. Moments to attend field trips and create regular childhood memories. Because being a military family is hard enough without needing to worry about basic needs like putting food on the table.
