Big AI news just dropped 🫳 (But only a few people have tested it) *IF* the hype is real, then Devin, a new product by Cognition AI, will be a serious leap forward for AI. Basically, Devin is a full-fledged AI worker that can handle entire coding projects. From fixing bugs to fine-tuning large language models 🤯 ‐---------- So, what does this mean for us regular people? I think that future entrepreneurs will have the ability to build the app they always dreamed of! Cognition AI just introduced their AI Software Engineer and there is still no need to panic! AI based software developer is still way away from taking your job. However, it's just a matter of time that this will come into main stream usage. There are a lot of factors that will come into play including regulations, practicality, pricing. Cognitive models are really interesting though. It's a good step towards achieving AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) We will get to AGI eventually but it will not happen suddenly. Jobs and the landscape will change slowly and not immediately. There are many other companies working on the emotive models too and we will soon hear something from them. The only need is to stay abreast of the technologies, especially the expectations and limitations around it. As long as that is done, you will definitely find ways to adopt it. As a rule of thumb, whenever you find a new ai agent, if you are not aware of it's intricate details, just look for it's limitations before reading any media post. Chances are high that you will save yourself from false fear mongering.
