👶🧬 𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐬 As we celebrate World IVF Day this week, we also observe that for the first time since 1960, the number of live births in the EU has fallen below 4 million, reflecting one of the lowest fertility rates globally. 📉 This decline, approaching levels last seen two decades ago, positions the EU among the regions with the lowest fertility rates worldwide. In response, the UK has witnessed a significant rise in egg freezing, with an 81% increase in egg freezing cycles up from 2022. Despite the high costs, often exceeding £5,000 per cycle, many women in their late 30s and early 40s are choosing this option to extend their reproductive timeline. 📈 The fertility market is evolving rapidly, with innovation driving personalized care and expanding services. This growth is set to increase the global fertility services market from $22 billion in 2022 to a projected $68.32 billion by 2032. To meet the demand for affordable fertility options and address the need for egg donors, UK virtual fertility clinic Apricity Fertility has launched the 🥚❄️ "Freeze and Share" program. This initiative offers reduced costs for egg freezing in exchange for donating some eggs, helping women manage the procedure's cost while contributing to donor banks and reducing wait times for donor eggs. Navigating the entire fertility journey—from egg freezing to IVF, and postnatal care— with comprehensive support 🤝 throughout each stage of this journey is vital to make confident decisions. 🌟 As proud investors in Apricity, we are excited to support their journey in closing gaps in fertility care and advancing family planning solutions. 🌟 Navigating Your Fertility Journey: How to Choose the Right Clinic 🌟 Embarking on the path of fertility treatment is a significant decision, and selecting the right clinic can profoundly impact your journey toward parenthood. With countless options available, it's essential to consider several key factors to ensure you find the clinic that best fits your needs and goals. 1️⃣ Success Rates: Look for clinics with a track record of success in achieving positive outcomes for patients. Review their success rates for procedures such as In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) or Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) to gauge their expertise and effectiveness. 2️⃣ Expertise of the Medical Team:Research the qualifications and experience of the clinic's medical team, including fertility specialists, reproductive endocrinologists, and embryologists. Trusting your care to skilled professionals with extensive expertise can provide peace of mind and confidence in your treatment. 3️⃣ Range of Services: Consider the range of fertility services offered by the clinic, including diagnostic testing, fertility preservation, and advanced treatment options such as genetic screening or donor egg/sperm programs. Choose a clinic that provides comprehensive care tailored to your individual needs. 4️⃣ Personalized Care: Seek out clinics that prioritize personalized care and individualized treatment plans. A clinic that takes the time to understand your unique circumstances, preferences, and goals can offer a more tailored and effective approach to your fertility journey. 5️⃣ Patient Experience: Read reviews and testimonials from past patients to gain insight into the clinic's patient experience. Pay attention to factors such as communication, support, and overall satisfaction to ensure you'll feel supported and valued throughout your treatment. 6️⃣ Accessibility and Location:Consider practical factors such as the clinic's location, accessibility, and hours of operation. Choosing a clinic that is conveniently located and offers flexible appointment options can make the logistics of treatment more manageable. By carefully evaluating these factors and conducting thorough research, you can confidently choose the right clinic to support you on your fertility journey. Remember, finding the perfect fit may take time, but investing in the right clinic is an essential step toward realizing your dream of parenthood. 🌈💕 #FertilityJourney #ChooseWisely #EmpoweredChoices

Egg freezing is more than just a medical procedure, it’s a deeply personal, emotionally charged, and often physically and financially challenging journey. Even experts like Dr Natalie Getreu, Co-Founder of our clinical partner Hertility, have found the process demanding despite her extensive knowledge in fertility and women’s health. As fertility clinics, we owe it to women and those assigned female at birth, to provide not just the treatment but also the support they need to navigate fertility preservation. It’s important to remember that egg freezing is still a fertility treatment—essentially an IVF cycle without the embryo transfer—and should be treated with the same level of care and understanding. Here’s what true patient support looks like: ✅ Transparency in pricing: Clearly outlining costs at every step of the journey. ✅ Flexible finance options: Allowing patients to spread the cost over time. ✅ Accessibility: Being responsive outside of regular working hours. ✅ Counselling support: Including therapy sessions as part of the package so patients have the emotional support they need. At Apricity Fertility, we’re committed to doing all this, and more. We’re always learning, growing, and refining our approach to ensure we offer the best possible care for our patients. 💚 Because every woman deserves to feel informed, empowered, and supported on her fertility journey. 📖 Read more about egg freezing journeys and costs from Sky News: https://lnkd.in/e4bkTA5c #FertilitySupport #EggFreezing #WomensHealth #ApricityFertility
