As a business broker, there are two sides of the deal: buy-side and sell-side. Sell-side often starts with the cold reachout or referral - “hey, let me sell your business” or “hey, these folks can sell your business.” Buy-side starts with YOU. “I want to buy a business and build my brand, but how?” A lot of brokers will sit and wait for the sell-side to heat up; build up your listings, reach out to some potential buyers, and go from there. Buy-side can seem much more intriguing. Being able to help people - from their initial search all the way to the closing table. But being able to do both is key.
