But we normally forget the “real estate” angle. Planes are perhaps the most expensive real estate in the world - measured by square inch! The airlines that guess the pulse of the market right - with the right configurations and who are nimble and switched on, make money! While those airline that lose focus of this key area, are the ones that keep bleeding! Then you have airports as well - they definitely are in the real estate business! Airlines should not shy away from experimenting with the “real estate”! Their real estate “flies” For airports - it’s a bigger challenge!
