When describing a complex and acute head and neck injuries to a plaintiff’s arteries, visual aids such as Mechanism of Injury Animations can illustrate exactly how the injury occurred, offering a clear visual of the forces involved and their impact on the body. This case involved a fast-food restaurant customer retrieving a beverage from the soda machine. As she stood there, a panel meant to seal the ice-making machine, fell from the top of the soda dispenser, slamming into the customer’s head and causing blunt carotid artery injury. This type of trauma usually caused by a forceful impact to the neck can result in major damage to the artery wall. The MotionLit Animation visualized how the screw on the panel was loose and how it was placed incorrectly which lead to the heavy panel falling over. Two Mechanism of Injury animations were also produced to show detailed walkthroughs of how the blunt force trauma to the carotid artery was a direct result of the impact caused by the panel fall. In personal injury lawsuits, Animations are essential for mediation and trial, helping to clearly present your case. Our visual aids have been instrumental in achieving multi-million dollar settlements and verdicts for personal injury lawyers and top trial attorneys nationwide. The only exception to "winging it" may be found in this Ohio Supreme Court case about bones in wings--boneless wings to be precise. As an aside, sometimes the fact patterns we deal with in law can be quite...memorable. In this case, Ohio's top court was tasked with examining consumers' expectations about "boneless wings." Specifically, what happens when a restaurant-served boneless wing contains a bone that causes an injury? Read this article to find out... https://lnkd.in/enasdrEN
