As entrepreneurs–and even more so as creatives–part of the deal is putting ourselves “out there.” So, when Mike Neilan and Michael McDonough from Focus Forward Media, Inc. extended the invite to jump on their podcast, I was all in. Plus, the recording was in person and there were tacos 🌮… how could I refuse? Even though their business is technically in competition with mine, I had three reasons for hopping on the pod: 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 🌐 Engaging with peers, even competitors, isn't just about sharing insights—it's about planting seeds for potential collaborations, exchanging resources, and sometimes, referring clients to each other when one of us can’t meet their needs. 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 📣 It’s amazing how a single podcast episode can amplify your presence and evangelize your message. Opportunities to highlight what sets Pennant Video apart help potential clients and others in our industry understand who we are, what we do, and why we do it. 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 🤝 Being open to conversations with competitors shows confidence in what you bring to the table and embraces diverse viewpoints. It’s about showing up, sharing your perspective, and, most importantly, providing value to your audience. Stay tuned for the episode of 'Up In Your Business' to drop 🔜 Thanks again to Mike and Mike for having me on the mic! 🎙️ PS-That Marchand jersey is very on point rn. Go B’s! 🏒🐻

How do you drive a business to be '𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁' first? In today's world, we are seeing the following happen: → Cold emailing is getting harder to do → No one wants to answer your cold calls → People hate being pitch slapped Companies / individuals that focus on their brand are going to be the ones driving solid content pipeline. I've seen it happen first-hand, Trigify.io is tiny and relatively unknown, but my own LinkedIn generates close to 20 meetings a week purely via content. This is why having Michel Lieben 🧠 on The Sales Lab Podcast was insane. My mind was blown 🤯 not only at how he thinks about building his tech stack in 2024 but also how he is driving ColdIQ to be a content-first business. Full episode is out now, link below 👇

Want to peek behind the curtain? 👀 I recently attended Alex and Leila Hormozi’s acquisition.com Scaling Workshop in Las Vegas and this episode of The Profitable Nutritionist Podcast is a full review of that event along with my big takeaways. (Specifically what we’re doing here at TPN HQ based on the strategies shared at that event.) 🎙️ https://lnkd.in/gfAaC9rU Listen and Learn: 1️⃣ The Scaling Formula the acquisition.com team uses to filter through businesses they may want to invest in (and why that same formula should be applied to any small business, even if they don’t want to sell) 2️⃣ The new marketing and lead-generation strategies we’re implementing over the next 6 months (some of which may really surprise you) 3️⃣ A big announcement on something new coming in September Ultimately, if you want more leads in your business without wasting time or money on tactics that don’t work…. This episode is for you. Enjoy. 🎙️ https://lnkd.in/gfAaC9rU

When my clients first hear that we are going to select 10 moments from their journey, some of them are surprised and think that 10 is a lot. After working together, they discover they have many more moments that are connected to the benefits of what they sell (as do you). How to choose the ones that are relevant to your audience and your business? That's the key. With the Story Connectors framework, I guide you to identify 10 moments that serve to emphasize 10 differentiating factors of what you offer. These stories act as a bridge to talk about the benefits of what you sell. By using your brand story strategically you will provide: - CONTEXT: showing how you're someone TRUSTWORTHY - CONNECTION: showing how you're someone RELATABLE - CONTRAST: showing how you're someone UNIQUE Check out my profile for examples of Story Connectors and tips for deciding which parts of your story to tell. If you prefer personalized support, I'd love to guide you, explore together your life path and strategically select what to share. After our work, my clients feel the confidence of having a set of 10 carefully chosen stories and the clarity of knowing how to use them depending on their needs: content creation, being a guest on a podcast, writing their About Me page, etc. Now, it’s your turn! Send me a DM to get the details of my Story Connectors 1:1 Intensive. Let's talk!
