Looking back on our private launch event! On December 5th, we had the pleasure of welcoming our partners to our Saguenay facility to unveil Alunov, our brand-new optimized process for pot shell repairs. This innovation, born from our commitment to continuous improvement, marks a major milestone for the aluminum smelting sector. By rethinking our processes through robotics, we are enhancing productivity while creating a work environment that fosters employee growth and well-being. Highlights of the evening included: 🤖 A live demonstration of our revolutionary robot 👷 A guided tour of the newly modernized section of our facility 🍸 Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere A big thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to this success!

What does a production developer at Wemo do? Andreas Bergvall knows the answer, having joined us two months ago! 🙌🏻   Andreas has already started making his mark by focusing on simplifying and streamlining production processes. His efforts not only make daily tasks easier for his colleagues but also enhance customer satisfaction – a more efficient production line means fewer defects and quicker deliveries.   “Things will work out” is a phrase often heard from Andreas, reflecting his solution-oriented approach. For Andreas, challenges are meant to be overcome, and his optimism is contagious.   “A typical workday at Wemo starts with a walk around the production floor to review what happened the previous day and to look ahead at what’s on the agenda. From there, the days can vary significantly depending on the development project I’m currently working on. Production development can involve anything from implementing new physical solutions to spending an entire day at the computer working within the business system,” says Andreas.   When applying for the job at Wemo, Andreas had two clear reasons:   “I’ve always been interested in automation and robotics. There’s always something new to learn, and no project is ever the same. This means my workdays are filled with variety and problem-solving – exactly what I enjoy! I also knew several of my current colleagues before joining, and they always spoke highly of the company. After two months here, I can honestly say that I’m very happy in my role and enjoy working with my friendly colleagues.”   Outside of work, Andreas is an enthusiastic volleyball fan. He played volleyball when he was younger and has, in recent years, coached a youth team at Värnamo Volley (VBA). Right now, however, his focus is on his family, as he has recently become a father to a baby girl.   A warm welcome to Andreas! One of the biggest challenges for ZEVO?— Convincing stakeholders that an all-electric supply chain could be as reliable if not more, than traditional diesel-based models. From logistics partners to potential investors, we had to overcome skepticism at every corner. There were days when the roadblocks felt insurmountable. Charging infrastructure was (and still is) limited And ensuring seamless, real-time data for each leg of the supply chain required a level of tech integration that was ambitious, to say the least. But here’s the thing—we believed in the vision. We weren’t just trying to launch another service. Zevo is about building a cleaner, more sustainable future, and taking India one step closer to a zero-emission supply chain. Every challenge taught us something new, strengthened our commitment, and eventually, opened doors to a network of supporters who share our vision. Today, as we continue to grow, I’m grateful for the lessons and the people who stood by us. Starting something innovative is rarely smooth sailing, but seeing Zevo bring real change to the industry has made every struggle worth it. Here’s to all of us who are pushing boundaries—one solution, one idea, one step at a time.
