one cellcentric day 2024
As a special highlight of this year's one #cellcentric day at the Fliegerhalle in Kirchheim-Teck/Nabern, the result of 100,000s of hours of blood, sweat and tears, but also of innovation, commitment, power, endurance and team spirit, became visible and tangible for our employees. For many cellcentricers it was a very special and moving moment! The Daimler #GenH2 truck powered by cellcentric fuel cell systems made a surprise and much-noticed appearance at cellcentric. Interesting fact: there are only five vehicles in the world that have been undergoing practical trials with selected customers as part of the initial customer trial by #DaimlerTruck since the end of July. One of the customers is Wiedmann & Winz Power Logistics from Geislingen an der Steige.
Our warmest thanks go to the medium-sized freight forwarding and logistics company for their support of the one cellcentric day. The managing directors Dr. Micha Lege and Dr. Andreas Bühler not only brought their much-acclaimed Daimler GenH2 truck to Nabern. During a podium discussion, they provided insights into their industry and talked about the most pressing challenges that are literally crying out for solutions in the context of the drive change in long-distance heavy-duty transport. GenH2 driver Salvatore Billeci gave a relaxed and humorous account of his first few weeks at the new “workplace”, which he described as “inspiring, trouble-free, powerful even with a 25-ton load and almost silent”. With words like “it feels like gliding over the road”, he inspired the audience and motivated them to continue working on the heart of such vehicles - powerful, reliable and environmentally friendly fuel cell systems.
