34% of employees avoid work socials due to alcohol. Here are 7 ideas for company socials that don't include alcohol but DO include everybody 👇🏻 #1 A group challenge like an escape room or a maze. #2 A potluck lunch encouraging everyone to bring in their favourite dish. #3 A taskmaster-style timed challenge with mixed department groups. #4 An office bake-off competition where members of the team are picked as judges. #5 A classic activity like mini golf, axe throwing or bowling. #6 A team sporting event such as a Colour Run or a Tough Mudder. #7 A paid for virtual lunches for remote teams. I don't blame people for avoiding alcohol-related socials. Making social events inclusive means: > Those who don't drink can participate > Parents can still put their kids to bed > People who live far out can drive in Everyone should be able to enjoy a work event 👏🏻 P.S. My favourite work social we did at Roma Black was a yacht day with good food and the sun shining ☀️

Have you ever worked someone that had rituals and traditions? What feels different about that versus a work environment without tradition? I don't mean that every company requires a rich history - these can be as simple as monthly events. Maybe you and your coworkers look forward to the first Friday of every month because the company put together an intentional adventure. Imagine building memories and team moral by getting opportunities to play Top Golf or go to karaoke. Rituals and traditions have a unique way of bringing company culture to life. 🌟 That's what we love about helping companies. We get to curate events anywhere from 50-800 attendees, some annual, some quarterly, and we've even designed team-building retreats. What I'll say is that these aren’t just events; they’re moments that build lasting connections and celebrate what a company stands for. We design events that capture the heart of your company’s mission, creating experiences that bring teams together and inspire shared pride and purpose. Ready to make your company culture unforgettable? Let’s connect! 🤝

𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 – 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗜 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗜 𝗠𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗪𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 This summer has been nothing short of thrilling as I rejoined the live events industry, this time through the 𝘍𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳 route. Being back on-site, closer to production, and seeing how things work behind the scenes from a whole new perspective has been an exhilarating experience that I’m itching to dive back into! Working alongside food traders has been eye-opening in the best way. Whether the businesses were just starting out or well-established, the sense of camaraderie was incredible. There’s an unspoken bond that unites food traders, like a family that supports each other through any challenge—whether it’s lending equipment, sharing staff, angels on buggies or battling the elements (I’ll never forget those moments of cable-tying signs in the wind!). And, of course, the constant flow of mouth-watering food shared amongst each other didn’t hurt either! Beyond the community, I’ve had the privilege of rubbing shoulders with some of the greats in the industry. It’s been a humbling and exciting opportunity to raise my profile and see the spark in their eyes as I share my career journey and future goals. One early morning at BST, while waiting for a food delivery at 6 am and cracking on with admin work, it hit me—𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘦𝘹𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘭𝘺 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘐 𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦. Remote working, on-site operations, staffing, honing in on my organization, event management, and 1-2-1 training—I’m living what I dreamed of. Looking back at over 1,000 photos and videos from this summer has been heartwarming, and while it was a challenge to condense it all into a short recap, I’m already looking forward to capturing even more next year! Now, as we head into the winter season, I’m excited to shift gears into 𝙀𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙎𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙨. Keep an eye on your inbox—who knows, you might be hearing from me soon. 😉 #LiveEvents #EventIndustry #FestivalLife #Networking #CareerGrowth #TeamworkMakesTheDreamWork

🌟 What not to do during a Team Building Event: Insights from Go Travel Experts💡 We understand the importance of effective team-building events, but it’s essential to steer clear of common pitfalls to ensure your event's success! Here are a few things to avoid when planning your next team-building experience: 1️⃣ Skipping Purpose and Structure: Every activity should be goal-oriented and well-organized. Aim for a balance between fun and purpose to make it engaging and valuable. 2️⃣ Forgetting to Involve the Team: Build excitement by gathering input and feedback. When team members have a say, they feel valued and more engaged. 3️⃣ Ignoring Diversity and Inclusivity: Keep in mind that everyone has different interests and abilities. Choose activities that encourage participation from all team members, making sure everyone feels included. 4️⃣ Overlooking Clear Communication: Avoid misunderstandings and confusion by sharing a detailed plan ahead of time. This ensures everyone knows what to expect, including dress code, transportation, and itinerary. 5️⃣ Neglecting Follow-Up: After the event, follow up to reinforce takeaways and gather feedback. This helps solidify the event's impact and can guide future improvements. Planning a team-building event with purpose and inclusivity can transform your team’s dynamics and elevate morale. Let us help you create memorable experiences that bring your team closer! #TeamBuilding #GoTravel #EventPlanning #CompanyCulture #EmployeeEngagement
