How I Found My Own Gaming Studio and Released 40+ Games 🎮 I’ve just downloaded Game Dev Tycoon by Greenheart Games 💚 for it, hehe You can buy it via Steam or get it for free with a Netflix subscription (my case) The game helps to know more about processes in GameDev (not 100% accurate, but enough). Takeaways from the game that are true for real GameDev: 1 High score review doesn’t necessarily lead to high revenue 2 Data-driven approach rules! 3 Vacations and training for your staff is crucial Have you played this game? Or want? 👾 P.S. Maybe one day this all will become true in real life! #gamedevelopment #gamingindustry #gamedev #games
Love this Eva! This Gaming Studio allows you develop games? What kind of technical skills do you need?
One of my fav games from the past) Still love it 😁
Cool game! Several years ago I was really in tycoons. I played a lot of this genre, like barbershop, tv empire, police, device (phones, laptops...) and so on. And gamedev was the most exciting!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on 'Game Dev Tycoon,' Eva Piatrushina! I also play this game and find it not only entertaining but also quite insightful about the history and processes of game development. Here's a snapshot from my current game where I'm managing my studio, 'CoolGames. And thanks for the inspiration! I’m definitely going to spend some time playing this game this evening. ;-)
Sequels rock in this game. After 4 versions of Strange is life, market wants Strange is Life 5! Such a fun game to play to have a taste of game dev
Yeah! I did it too. Great game, I think. And these tips also work in IT)) Can I put these released games on my CV?
First 2 sentences put me on a small emotional journey:) A bit sad you didn't found the real studio:(
Thanks for the inspiration Eva. It's been sitting in my Steam library for a few years. What was the most successful game you made in the game? 😄 I think in 10 or more years this will be the real life of a game developer. We will be playing a similar game with AI and it will release it's creation to the Metaverse. What do you think?
Spent a good 30ish hours on this little gem a few years back. Always a fun time!

6moAn addition to the lessons you can learn from this game: No matter how much money you make, your game development skills will naturally improve and evolve over time. The game business is a marathon, not a sprint.
