🎄 Christmas Jumper Day at European Tech Recruit! 🎄 Last Friday, our office was filled with festive cheer and cozy knits as we celebrated Christmas Jumper Day raising funds for Save the Children. From sparkly reindeer to classic holiday patterns, our team wore their brightest sweaters for a great cause. ✨ It’s moments like these — coming together, having fun, and giving back — that make our company culture special. We’re proud to do our part in helping children around the world, and we want to thank everyone who joined in and contributed. Special kudos to William Webb for winning the best outfit — what an excellent tie! Enjoy these snapshots of our team in their holiday best! 📸🎅 #ChristmasJumperDay #SaveTheChildren #TeamSpirit #HolidayCheer #EuropeanTechRecruit

The Power of Giving Back to the Community Giving back to the community is more than just an act of kindness—it is a powerful way to foster connection, create impact, and inspire growth in ourselves and those around us. At its core, giving back reflects a deep sense of gratitude and responsibility for the environment and people who have contributed to our journey. Why Giving Back Matters Building Stronger Communities Every contribution, whether big or small, strengthens the fabric of society. Volunteer efforts, donations, or simply offering time and skills can address critical needs, empower marginalized groups, and create opportunities for development. Fostering Unity and Connection Giving back fosters collaboration and understanding, bridging gaps between people from diverse backgrounds. It promotes shared goals and builds trust within the community. Creating a Ripple Effect Acts of generosity often inspire others to pay it forward, creating a cycle of goodwill and positive impact. This ripple effect can lead to lasting societal changes and improvements in collective well-being.

Did you know that the simple act of moving can be transformed into a powerful tool for community support? This isn't just about relocating items from point A to B. It's about moving hearts, inspiring change, and creating a ripple effect of generosity in our communities. Our recent participation in the #BrokersforKids event at Scottsdale Stadium, put on by Saguaros Children's Charities, wasn't just another day at work for us at M3 Commercial Moving & Logistics. It was a testament to our commitment to going beyond the call of duty. A single truck stood proudly among those who share our vision of giving back. In over two decades in the moving industry, I've seen firsthand the evolution from mere logistics to becoming a cornerstone of community support. From my early days moving boxes, to leading a team that sets trends in workplace solutions, the journey has been nothing short of inspirational to me. At M3, we're not just movers; most importantly, we're community supporters. The M3 Cares initiative is a prime example of how we leverage our resources and network to make a tangible difference. Events like Brokers for Kids allow us to extend our reach, touching more lives, and fostering a culture of giving back. This approach has not only set us apart in the moving and workplace solutions industry but has also ingrained a deep sense of purpose in everything we do. Our trucks do more than move office furniture; they carry hope, support, and the promise of a better tomorrow. I invite you to share your thoughts on how businesses can play a pivotal role in supporting their communities. What initiatives have you seen or been a part of that made a real difference? Let's inspire each other with stories of generosity and impact. If this message resonates with you, please like, comment with your experiences, and repost to spread the word. #CommunitySupport #MovingIndustry #M3Cares #teamm3 #mmmfamily #leadership #b4k #abc

🌍✨ GivingTuesday isn’t just about raising money — it’s about celebrating generosity in every form! As you plan for December 3rd, here are some inspiring ways to engage your community: 1. Highlight your impact by celebrating your incredible volunteers, staff, and donors. Put a face to your organization and humanize the mission you’re driving forward. 2. Ask your community what your mission means to them. Increase social engagement, gather valuable feedback, and create meaningful content inspired by their responses. 3. Host a simple community-building event to strengthen relationships IRL. A local park or library meet-up can create connections that last well beyond GivingTuesday. How are you planning to celebrate the world’s biggest day for generosity? Let us know! ⬇️ #GivingTuesdaycampaign #GivingTuesday #DoGood

Running an advocacy organization is a demanding enough gig to begin with. Every President or Executive Director knows that feeling of brushing their teeth before bed and remember those website updates they planned to make that afternoon. (Cue the expletives) 😄 What if someone told you it doesn't need to be that hard? What if you could go through your whole year focusing on running the organization and your website would magically run in the background? You'd call them a liar. So would we. Running a website is not magic, but it is hard work. We've made it our work so that you can focus on what's important - making a difference for those living with rare conditions. We'll take the whole thing off of your plate, take direction regarding updates, and we'll regularly meet each month to talk strategy. Over time, your website will become an extra team member, soliciting donations, sharing your message, welcoming new families, inviting researchers, and attracting interest from future industry partners. We're in your corner for your community. Let us know when you're ready to talk!

"A community is like a ship, everyone ought to be prepared to take the helm." - Henrik Ibsen In preparation for our episode of Generosity Experience Live today and my workshop on turning Giving Day supporters into recurring givers, I've also had to balance that not everyone participates in a Giving Day or even knows what I mean by that. I'm going to link to a good overview of the differences between #GivingTuesday and a community giving day, but here's the thing - we have opportunities to turn casual donations into sustainable support at any stage of the generosity experience, not just an organized giving day. These are all just channels—ultimately, people will respond to what is relevant, make them feel they did something important, and make them feel they are part of a bigger movement. You create opportunities for a generosity moment every single day - whenever your founder speaks in front of a crowd about your mission, an organized volunteer day, or a peer-to-peer fundraising event. No matter what, you can tap into that passion and turn it into community building. It isn't about the money, it's about the connection. Who will I see today or tomorrow to dive into this further?

🎁 The season of giving doesn’t have to mean big, complicated donations—sometimes, it’s the little acts of kindness that count the most. In Certified workplaces, 83% of employees feel proud of their company’s contributions to the community. This holiday season, here are some quick ways to share that spirit: 🎅 Surprise treat exchange: Organize a ‘Secret Santa’ or holiday treat swap where everyone brings in their favorite snack or small gift for a teammate—easy to set up and instantly brings smiles. 🎅 Lunch out for a good cause: Skip the office holiday lunch this year and support a local, family-run restaurant as a team—it’s a win-win! 🎅Bring warmth to others: Invite team members to contribute to a ‘winter warmth’ box with items like scarves, gloves, or socks. It’s easy to coordinate and brings the spirit of giving to everyone involved.

Of the two aspects of my background—being mixed race and working class—the working class side has arguably caused the most barriers (aye, and trust me, there’ve been a few!). Coming from a working-class background has shaped my approach to fundraising, but it’s also made me see just how few voices from this background get a say in our industry. Working-class fundraisers have real-life insight into the communities we serve. We don’t just chat about ‘engagement strategies’—we’ve lived it, grafted through it, and can smell when an idea’s heading down the wrong path before it’s even off the ground. And if it’s like me trying to explain sushi to my Grandma back in the 80's —you know it’s bound to go sideways without the right voices in the room! So let’s knock down these barriers and make space for working-class voices. They’re not just vital—they’re the secret ingredient to truly innovative and inclusive fundraising. #FundraisingInnovation #WorkingClassVoices #GeordiePride #InclusionMatters
