One of the best things you can do to prevent furniture tipover—in addition to installing tip restraints—is to avoid placing tempting items on top of media units, dressers, and chests. When possible, mount your television set to the wall. If you do place your television on top of your furniture, avoid placing remote controls, toys, or other tempting items beside or on top of the TV—when kids can see them but not reach them, they’re more likely to climb. Help us prevent furniture tipover. What do I need to clean my windows? 1. A window cleaning solution – look for a specifically designed solution for window cleaning. You can find these at most hardware stores or online. You can also make your window cleaning solution by mixing water with vinegar. 2. A squeegee – a squeegee is a must-have tool for window cleaning. It will help you remove all of the water and solution from your windows, leaving them streak-free. 3. A lint-free cloth – this is important for drying your windows after you’ve squeezed them. A lint-free cloth will prevent streaks and smears. 4. You can also use a ladder to reach any hard-to-reach windows. Just be sure to use a stable ladder and take care when climbing it. #windowcleaning #windowcleaner #alvservicescleaners

I made this post yesterday. I am now rephrasing my post with a CTO hat here. - Each window is covered ... [i.e. protect your application core and make sure it doesn't break. Protect your interfaces while coding/re-factoring] - So the shop front ... [i.e. Minimise any impact on user experience, unless clearly communicated] - Use of roller not brush ... [i.e. Use the right tools to avoid accidentally impacting components that shouldn't get impacted] - Footpath covered ... [i.e. Uphold user experience and application ecosystem. If an application is meant to behave in a certain way, that must be maintained. Example: Microsoft trying to push Windows behaviours on their Mac version of applications] - Proper use of ladders ... [i.e. Maintain documentation and communicate risks or impact of any change to your stakeholders] Happy Monday guys!
It was my get-a-hair-cut day, and as I walked down our Theale High Street, I couldn't stop taking this photo. This is a small example of those who care, do the right things and deliver a quality service. What a pity their van does not have their company name - and I missed asking that. - Each Window is covered nicely with frog tape - So the shop front from top to bottom - Use of roller and not brush that would splatter paint all around - Footpath covered too so that paint does not splatter on the government property used by public - Proper use of ladder and health/safety signage Fantastic - way to go guys!

There are a couple common hazards when it comes to window safety: Corded widow dressings and window latches. If at all possible, choose window treatments (blinds, shades, and curtains) that are cordless. These eliminate the risk choking and rope burn. When it comes to window latches, the easiest way to prevent safety (as well as general home security) risks is to have fixed windows. This means that they don't open at all. Now, whether that's not an option or you simply want the option, opt for childproof latches! #HomeRenovationATL #CustomMirror #CustomGlass #ClearVue #protips #kidsafe #AtlGlassAndMirrors

Tuesday…….. it’s a slow day😴 Here’s an odd fact…… Some Companies are still selling cheap manually operated blinds that require 2 controllers……. One for raising the blind, one for tilting the slats🤔 It’s 2024 for crying out loud 😭 You really don’t need two…. Blinds IN Glass Group Ltd only sell SV & SV+ manually operated blinds with 1 control, it operates the raise & lower & the tilt function in one operation, nice n easy Making your Tuesdays a little quicker 🫶🏼 Have a great day 😃 #blindsinglassgroup #pellini #superiorquality #supplychainbetter

Conquer Grime and Reveal the View: 5 Must-Have Supplies for Sparkling Windows! 🪟 We all know the frustration of staring through a film of dust and grime. But fear not, fellow professionals! Here's your arsenal for achieving those crystal-clear windows that elevate any space: 1. Microfiber Magic: Ditch the paper towels! Microfiber cloths are lint-free and leave windows streak-free. They're also reusable and eco-friendly – a win-win! 2. The Squeegee Savior: For larger windows, a squeegee is your best friend. Invest in a good quality one with a comfortable grip and a rubber blade that conforms to the glass. 3. Sudsy Solution: Not all cleaning solutions are created equal. Opt for a streak-free, ammonia-free formula that's gentle on window treatments and frames. 4. Extend Your Reach: For those hard-to-reach nooks and crannies, a telescoping window washer can be a game-changer. Look for one with a detachable and washable cleaning head. 5. Don't Forget the Bucket: A sturdy bucket with a built-in wringer will keep your cleaning solution fresh and minimize drips. Bonus Tip: For extra stubborn grime, consider a gentle window scraper or a solution with a touch of vinegar (always test in an inconspicuous area first!). What are your must-have window cleaning supplies? Share your secrets in the comments! #windowcleaning #maintenance #facilitiesmanagement
