When I was a kid, we used to have competitions in the schoolyard – who could throw a pinecone or a rock the farthest? 🪵💨 Nobody needed rulers or measuring tapes. All it took was someone shouting, “That went past that line over there!” and it was settled. Imagine using that same method to build cars, airplanes, or medical devices. 🤣 These days, when I visit manufacturers, I sometimes hear: “Eyeballing it is enough.” “We’ve been doing it this way for 20 years.” “It’ll be fine.” And you know what? It’s not. Because in a world where every fraction of a millimeter can determine success, there’s no room for guesswork or excuses. But what always excites me is when a manufacturer sees the difference. When precision delivers the kind of quality they can genuinely be proud of. And that’s what it’s all about. For 2025, I only wish for a few things: ➡️ Less “This is good enough.” ➡️ More courage to find solutions. ➡️ And above all, the precision that makes the difference. When I received this email, I wasn't sure how to feel about it.😶 This year has been challenging, with many ups and downs, mostly downs🙂. I've often questioned if I'm doing things right and if I'm really cut out to be a founder?? But through it all, I've kept working. I started KodeScape as a software product company, and our first product is EmoBoo. We're developing a system to understand dogs' emotions and behaviors using AI.🐶 Our goal is to make training and adopting dogs easier. We're still in the early stages, focusing on research and development. Building an AI company is as difficult as everyone says. It's not a matter of a few clicks and you're done. You may have an idea but aren't sure how it works. You may have a model but fear your accuracy will drop after testing.😣 You can collect data from various sources, but you must be responsible for every data point you use. Most importantly, you need substantial capital, but you're hesitant to get investors on board with all the uncertainties. 😬 There are so many points in the journey where I consider giving up after failing. But what keeps me going are the people I've met. These good people have helped me grow, learn, and rebuild myself every time. Even though this year was hard, I can finally say I don't regret starting KodeScape.🍀 If I had to list names, it would go on and on. Thank you to everyone who has helped me along the way—you don't know how grateful I am!💜

3 lessons I've learned in 20+ years of being a commercial photographer. It's been an extraordinary ride filled with ups and downs, but I'm grateful for every experience that has shaped me along the way. Here are 3 lessons: 1 - Adaptability is Key: The industry is always evolving, and staying flexible has allowed me to stay ahead. Embracing new techniques, technologies, and trends keeps my work fresh and relevant. 2 - Relationships Matter: Building strong connections with clients, colleagues, and the creative community has been invaluable. Trust and collaboration lead to better projects and lasting partnerships. 3 - Passion Fuels Success: Loving what I do has been the driving force behind my career. It’s been two months of posting on LinkedIn, 8 posts later I've gathered some key takeaways that I hope will resonate with many of you, especially those trying to find their voice in this increasingly noisy digital space. ➡️ Refusing to be just another salesperson The journey began with a clear intention: not to fall into the trap of relentless selling. Finding the right tone and topics that truly represent who I am and what Otomoro stands for has been challenging. I've realised that I value expertise over influence and would rather engage as a thought leader than a salesperson (that I’m not by the way). This shift, however, stirred the all-too-common 'impostor syndrome'—the feeling of not being expert enough to claim my space. It's a humbling experience to navigate. ➡️ The awkwardness of automation My first foray into automated campaigns felt extremely uncomfortable, to say the least. There was a dissonance between the automated content and the authenticity I strive for in every aspect of my work. That experience was a turning point. ➡️ Reframing for honesty and alignment Taking a step back, I reassessed how I could align my LinkedIn strategy with my core values. The result? A commitment to honesty and authenticity in how I present myself and Otomoro. No more automated facades—just real, value-driven content that hopefully sparks genuine conversations and connections. These two months have taught me more about myself and my business than I anticipated. Engaging here isn't just about business growth—it's about personal growth and staying true to your values in the process. It’s been two months since my last post, and here’s why. The end of the year turned out to be quite intense, and to keep my sanity, I decided to focus on other priorities and return when I had the energy. On the one hand, I regret missed opportunities, as I had hoped to fully launch my employee evaluation service, AgileHR.io, this year and get the first clients. As a founder, there should always be a strong drive to achieve goals, and I take that seriously. But anyway, over the past year, I learned a lot about the market. I’ve had the chance to conduct one-on-one sessions with potential clients showing them developed MVP, which deepened my understanding of what managers are looking for. I also conducted research that revealed that most employees feel the current evaluation processes are unfair. The most valuable takeaway from these sessions is that the core principles for my service should be: Transparent, Fair, and Simple. These principles were directly shaped by the feedback I received. This tool is not just about employee evaluation; it is also about creating an Agile organizational design, helping companies optimize how they assess, structure, and develop their teams.
