At nearly every event, there are last minute changes. At innoVia, we’re experts at navigating them. We know how to expect the unexpected and turn a challenge into a seamless experience. 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲? 𝗡𝗼 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺. When the entire City of Copenhagen lost power during a major event, we kept the energy alive—literally. With emergency lighting in the General Session and a naturally lit reception, the event continued without missing a beat. 𝗦𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗲? 𝗪𝗲’𝘃𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗖𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱. When a key participant fell ill after arriving at the venue, we set up a video conference feed to their hotel room. They didn’t miss a moment, and neither did the event. 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁? 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝘀 𝗩𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹. When a presenter’s flight was canceled, we swiftly pivoted to bring them in virtually, ensuring the hybrid meeting proceeded as planned. 𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘁-𝗠𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲? 𝗪𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗢𝗻 𝗜𝘁. Just last week, a client updated their branding right before an event. Everything from custom scenic elements to printed materials were adjusted to align with their new look. 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼 𝗧𝗶𝗽: Always have a Plan B, extra equipment ready, and team members you can rely on for help in a pinch. Trade Talk: For Quirk’s Event speakers, change was in session "Our Quirk’s Events don’t have themes or tracks, which is by design, as it frees us up to present a wide range of topics and viewpoints without the need to shoehorn a session into a track that’s not a good fit...So that typically means that any post-event trends or themes that emerge do so organically. The annual Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®) Industry Technology Exhibition and Conference (#HITEC) starts in just over two weeks, so it is time for Douglas Rice's annual #definitelydoug HITEC preview. As of June 6, the HITEC show floor showed 354 booths reserved by 351 separate companies, plus eight smaller stands offered to the Entrepreneur 20X (#E20X) competitors (one of which also has a full booth). The show floor is very slightly larger than last year, with about 82,400 square feet of rentable square exhibit space, of which 1,900 square feet were still available for the inevitable last-minute additions. Of the 351 companies, Doug counted 92 that are first-timers based on my records going back at least four years, plus the eight E20X contestants. That is roughly comparable to other recent years, with about 26% first-timers and those are the ones reviewed in this post. https://lnkd.in/dfGxu7bd

What could I say about #DynamicsMinds that hasn’t already been said? I had heard about this magical event from its first year and wanted to experience it for myself. No conference could be THAT good, right? Wrong, it is THAT good. I’ve been attending and delivering conference sessions and workshops for about 20 years now. And this was by far the best organized. · The attention to detail was amazing. · The speaker’s communication was perfect. · The session support was top-notch. · Not only did they have the best event photography I’ve encountered, every room, every session had conference themed elements to make sure we could do our own insta-worthy photos. · The venue was beautiful. · Best conference food. · The after-hours event planning was above and beyond. · Great speaker-treat with a local wine tour and tasting and a goodie bag full of treasures. · A point system to encourage interaction, and it worked. · I cannot even explain the keynote, but I never wanted it to end. #Copilot If the attendees had half the fun the speakers did, this conference will continue to be a go-to event for years to come. Oh, and there was tech content. Days of sessions given by global experts. My only change for next year will be to get a car so I can explore the area more. See you in 2025 (May 26-28 again in Portoroz, Slovenia)
