Text to video will be one of the major use cases of GenAI, transforming video-on-demand services like Netflix in the coming years. However, I come from the old school, so in this case, I prefer to keep it real! I forgot to say… but yes, besides AI, I love jumping into the unknown, something I do almost daily 😂. That's the only way to feel the pain. 𝘉𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘦 𝘫𝘶𝘮𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘝𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘢 𝘍𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘴 𝘉𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘨𝘦 (𝘡𝘢𝘮𝘣𝘪𝘢 / 𝘡𝘪𝘮𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘸𝘦) #AI #GenAI #jump

Natural experiences still beat any simulation. Real thrills matter.

I think on-demand video is the GenAI version of "digital land" in the era of NFTs. Yes, you can own pixels of your non-fungible personalized mansion, but is it really valuable? Similarly, do we crave the high-res video of bungee jumping or do we crave seeing videos of real people like us daring things we don't? I think on-demand personalization (re-generation) of videos with AI is a much better use case, similar to customizing cars in GTA.

Eduardo Ordax - that's an interesting perspective. Imagine Netflix has used it's catalogue as training data and we could generate an on-demand movie, documentary or TV series from a prompt (which is maybe what you were getting at in your comment) - could be a really interesting GenAI driven version of Netflix.
