There are pivotal moments that matter, and I would argue that this is one of them. There is overwhelming evidence of the need to redress the inequity in women's health experiences and outcomes. Yet, at the same time, a compelling market opportunity for those organisations that chose to develop products and services with women in mind. This is the sweet spot of innovation and impact.

Today, in honor of World Diabetes Day and American Diabetes Month, we’re shining a light on diabetes—a condition that impacts over 37 million Americans—and the important role Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) plays in transforming diabetes care. #WorldDiabetesDay #AmericanDiabetesMonth #RemotePatientMonitoring #DiabetesCare #Alopex
📅 November 14 is World Diabetes Day and November is National Diabetes Month! 📅 Today we aim to raise awareness about diabetes and the critical role remote patient monitoring (RPM) plays in empowering patients to take control of their health. Diabetes affects over 37 million Americans, and with RPM, we’re able to provide patients with the tools and support they need to better manage their condition from home. At Alopex, we’re dedicated to making diabetes management easier, more accessible, and more effective. By remotely tracking key health metrics like blood sugar and blood pressure, we’re helping providers catch issues early, reduce complications, and improve overall outcomes. Let’s make American Diabetes Month and World Diabetes Day reminders of what is possible with the right care, technology, and commitment to patient health. Together, we’re creating a healthier future. #WorldDiabetesDay #AmericanDiabetesMonth #RemotePatientMonitoring #DiabetesAwareness #PatientCare #DigitalHealth

We're excited to share that two presentations led by Dr. Shaminie Athinarayanan, PhD today at the American Diabetes Association's Scientific Sessions highlight the benefits of Virta’s virtual continuous care model for members in both urban and rural communities nationwide. One of these presentations was recognized as one of the Health Disparities Committee’s Top 10 Recommended Abstracts 🏆 This real world research reveals significant improvements in cardiometabolic outcomes, including HbA1c, weight, triglycerides, and HDL-C, over 1 year in members with T2D and prediabetes from both rural and urban communities. Historically, rural communities have had poorer access to healthcare and diabetes-related outcomes. Virta’s continuous remote care model allows us to reach these underserved populations and provide them with the support they need to achieve significant improvements. https://lnkd.in/gsvzRyaG
If you’re at #ADA2024, come visit Virta’s poster presentation today from Shaminie Athinarayanan, PhD, on the impact of Virta on members living in rural vs. urban areas. Congratulations to Shaminie, as this abstract was selected as one of the Health Disparities Committee’s Top 10 Recommended Abstracts! American Diabetes Association

As we celebrate ,'World Diabetes Day' the theme for this year is "Breaking Barriers, Bridging Gaps”. It serves as a reminder to all of us of the need to collectively work to overcome the growing burden of diabetes globally. The theme emphasizes the importance of tackling the challenges faced by individuals, communities, and health systems to access diabetes prevention and management. Bridging the service gaps to ensure timely access to diabetes care can save lives. The care services need to be equitable, comprehensive, accessible, and affordable. The path to overcome barriers and care gaps is long and challenging, but achievable. It is a shared responsibility of governments, healthcare providers, and communities to prevent diabetes and make healthier, longer, and more productive lives of people living with diabetes. Let's ensure that we take care of our own health by practicing healthy habits and bridge the gap between learnt knowledge and practice within ourselves, eventually making good health achievable for our families and communities. #WorldDiabetesDay #HolisticWelbeing #PreventionIsBetterThanCure #JVEdTechMedovation Dr. Jyoti Dongre Rao Dinesh K Vinita Suresh Deopurkar Sahil Choure Abdul Sheikh Savita Manvel- Chettiyar @Huzaif
