As communities across multiple states face unimaginable destruction and devastation in the wake of Hurricane Helene, local United Ways are continuing to work hand-in-hand on the frontlines to provide critical relief. In the words of Katherine Carlton, Executive Director of United Way of Henderson County, “It’s neighbors helping neighbors, communities helping communities.” This is the power of our United Way Network, and I couldn’t be prouder of how we’re rising to meet this moment. Your support helps mobilize resources for both immediate and long-term recovery. Together, we can make a difference: unitedway.org/helene.

Praying for all of these precious people. If you would like to give here are some links below.
Last week, devastating Hurricane Helene swept through six states along the East Coast, leaving destruction in its wake, and many have been reaching out to us to learn how they can help. NCF’s local teams in affected areas have done the groundwork to identify charities working there and are helping us determine what is being done. Please join us in praying for the victims of Hurricane Helene, that God will heal, comfort, and protect them and restore what they have lost. We as individuals and as companies often talk about our platforms. NCF's platform is powerful because of our givers generosity. Having a giving fund (charitable checking account) makes it really easy to give. Very rarely do we highlight individual charities. We tend to stay charity agnostic while Kingdom focused to maximize all givng to charities and churches our givers love. The piece below and link raises millions of dollars for the charities and churches on the ground helping the victims of Hurricane Helene. Thats the power of the platform. There are no politics to this. This is purely people helping people in everyway they can. Lets do what we can. #helene #hurricanerelief #generosity #love #platform

As a company headquartered in North Carolina, we are heartbroken by the historic devastation of our western counties by Hurricane Helene. Despite heroic efforts by first responders, the National Guard, utility crews and relief workers, the hardest hit communities still remain cut off, with gas, food, water, electricity and cellular service difficult if not impossible to obtain. Many communities in Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Florida have also endured terrible destruction. While our sites were spared, we will all know colleagues, friends, family, neighbors and clients who are impacted. In the face of such a disaster and suffering, it’s hard to know the best course of action and support. But by pulling together, we can make a difference. We urge you to consider joining Alcami in donating to the North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund to help our neighbors in their long recovery. Or, if you already have a relationship with a reputable non-profit that you trust to carry out relief services, donate directly to them or consider the American Red Cross or Salvation Army. Let’s continue to keep these communities in our thoughts and do all we can to aid them in the road ahead.
