Choosing no-code/low-code solutions in one question: What does “hard” look like for your project and does the no-code/low-code product support that level of “hard”? Hard is a relative term and can mean different scales for different projects. Now, just because it’s no/low code does not mean it is easier, as I always say when choosing any software: What’s easy is easy, what’s hard is impossible (when will your tech stack of choice get to the “hard” part). Last thought, just because there is no code involved doesn’t make it any easier to customize, having to click 50 times across complex workflows and what not just to not have to write 50 lines of code is not necessarily better. Think of the maintenance! By the time you release your product, you will already start making changes. DM me if you need help choosing The choices you make today will haunt you for years to come

If I could tell people one thing when starting a new greenfield software project -- think about events, not models. We've been trained as engineers to build a models-first approach. But web apps aren't "stacks" anymore. They're messy webs of dependencies and api connections. So don't start (for example) with "create new post." Start with an event called "post created," and a hook that can dispatch side effects from it. This gives you something you can actually test right out of the gate -- do you detect the event and does it dispatch?
