🚀 Swiss-Mile secures $22M to pioneer embodied intelligence 🤖 Swiss-Mile, a #robotics startup from Zurich, has raised $22 million in seed funding to advance its autonomous four-legged robot on wheels. The funding round was led by Jeff Bezos’ Bezos Expeditions and HongShan (Sequoia Capital China), who believe Swiss-Mile will be a leader in the embodied intelligence sector. 🔧 Swiss-Mile is a spin-off from ETH Zürich's renowned Robotic Systems Lab and was co-founded by Marco Hutter, a leading robotics expert and, as of recently, a Greater Zurich Ambassador. Building on the lab’s cutting-edge research, the team has already enabled their quadrupedal robot to walk, drive, stand upright on two legs, and manipulate packages with wheeled end-effectors. 🌐 The #GreaterZurichArea, also coined the Silicon Valley of Robotics, provides the perfect environment for visionary startups like Swiss-Mile to thrive.
