Job Quality Engineer / Sr. Quality Engineer Primary Location Kochi, India Schedule: Full-time Mobilization: Immediate Number Required: 1 Reports to Global Team Leader - QC Department: QHSE Dept. Key Responsibilities: As a minimum, independently handle below activities of Quality Dept. in adherence with Company Procedure and KPI’s · Prepare Assignment Instructions based on Client documents. · Review of Deliverables for Customers or peer review. · Resource Qualifications including skill identification and CV preparation. · Assist Technical Manager in QHSE activities and in any other matters as required. · Coordinate with Customers, Resources, and inter-department when needed. · Liaising with Operations on Resource Selection / Qualification / performance etc. · Resource Skill matrix & KPI’s handling · Surveillance/Supervisory Audits · Resource Training · Mentoring Junior team members · Should be able to support the company QHSE systems. PROFILE FOR EFFECTIVENESS: · Experience in similar roles. · Minimum 5 years’ experience in the inspection field. · Should be able work in night shifts. YOU MUST HAVE · Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering · 5 to 10 Yrs. (with bachelor’s degree) / 7 to 12 Yrs. (with diploma) · Should be conversant with MS office. SKILLS REQUIRED: · Shall possess roll-up-sleeves attitude and be Flexible with timings. · Out of the box thinking · Good Communication Skills – Written & Oral · 2nd party, 3rd party Inspection Experience in Oil & Gas Sector · Should be able to Lead and be a team player. · Manufacturing / Fabrication Experience. TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: · NDE Level-II in UT, RT, PT, MT · CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent · Auditor certifications is an added advantage.
