I spent quite a bit of time watching Mike Acton, Casey Muratori & Jonathan Blow. So, I designed a game engine for large scale #financial #simulations. The following is a small preliminary result I would like to share. You can construct #sentiment indexes via game engines. There is no need for expensive proprietary data. This index goes back to 1970, but it is trivial to extend the index to cover the entire 20th century. A sentiment index like this can be constructed for every #stock market index on the planet. I just need historical data. In fact, a sentiment index like this can be constructed for any individual stock on the planet. I'm still in #research & #development mode. The results I've compiled so far are, in a word, extraordinary. As far as I can tell, this is a new frontier.
