The ongoing conflict in Sudan has quickly become one of the world’s biggest humanitarian disasters. Without a ceasefire and full humanitarian access, estimates from the UN indicate that 10 to 12 million people could die of famine by the end of 2026. Last week, Cameron Hudson (Senior Fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies) joined us for a presentation on the situation in Sudan, the context behind the conflict, and the current gap in U.S. Leadership. Mr. Hudson's assessment painted a stark picture: “At no point have I seen the U.S. involvement as low in Sudan as it is today, which is I think quite ironic given that Sudan has never been at greater risk of state collapse.” - Cameron Hudson Interested in learning more about the current crisis and the role of the United States? 📊 Strategic Analysis: The Reshaping of Middle Eastern Geopolitics Just witnessed a masterclass in strategic leadership and regional transformation. Here's what caught my attention: The numbers tell an incredible story: Turkey's 910-kilometer border with Syria has become the focal point of a dramatic shift in Middle Eastern power dynamics. With 4 million Syrian refugees currently on Turkish soil, the stakes couldn't be higher. Key leaders to watch: Recep Tayyip Erdoğan: Masterfully orchestrating regional influence Hakan Fidan: Transforming intelligence expertise into diplomatic leverage Abu Muhammad al-Jolani: Emerging as a pivotal figure in Syria's new chapter Most fascinating? The control of roughly two-thirds of Syria west of the Euphrates represents one of the most significant geopolitical shifts since the Arab Spring. This reminds me of that pivotal 6.5-hour meeting back in August 2011 - sometimes the longest meetings yield the most transformative results! The implications for global trade, security, and diplomatic relations are staggering. As someone passionate about international relations and strategic leadership, I'm particularly intrigued by how this will reshape regional alliances. Thoughts? How do you see this impacting international business and diplomatic relations? #InternationalRelations #StrategicLeadership #MiddleEast #Geopolitics #GlobalTrade #DiplomaticRelations #TurkishForeignPolicy #StrategicAnalysis #GlobalPolitics #Leadership What are your thoughts on this transformative moment in Middle Eastern politics? 🤔

"Africa My Home, Africa My Future." Africa is a beautiful continent that is rich in cultural heritage, diversity and wildlife which makes it unique in the world. Most people know Africa based on what they see in the media and those images are dominated by negative portrayals of the continent.Together we shape our home Africa peace and Africa we want by saying no to hatred, no to revenge and no to violence, particularly that violence which is perpetrated in the name of a religion. Now I am happy to be part of this constructive journey "African Youth Leadership Diplomatic Conference 2025" to showcase our potential and innovative ideas to contribute to 'The Africa We Want' by connecting with young leaders from different countries across Africa and engaging with renowned Pan - African advocates , business leaders , policy makers, and high-level authorities. 📅 Date: February 23 - 25, 2025 📍 Ethiopian Skylight Hotel, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia 🇪🇹 📜 Theme: “A Pact for the New Spirit of Pan-Africanism through Glocalization, Innovation-Led Economic Integration and Peacebuilding.” #EYDPA #IYC #AYLDC #YouthLeadership #MakeADifference
