Too shy to share my wins? I used to be. But two things changed my perspective: → If I kept my achievements in secret, how will my clients discover the value I bring to their business? It’s not about self-promotion; it’s about providing proof of my dedication, success, and the value that both me and my team bring to the table. → More importantly, if I don’t acknowledge my achievements, how will I remind myself of the incredible journey I’m on? Every win, big or small, is proof of my hard work and growth. So, if you're too shy to share your wins, remember this: Embrace the spotlight - not just for the world, but for yourself, too! Because if you show up for your dreams, you definitely deserve to show off your triumphs! 💪

Already a quarter of the year has flown by! Now's the ideal moment to pause and reflect on the initial three months. Here are a few questions to ask yourself: 🌟What stands out as my biggest win in Q1? 🌟What hurdles did I encounter during Q1 and how did I get over them? 🌟What activities or experiences brought me the most joy in Q1, and how can I prioritise them in Q2? 🌟What goals am I excited to pursue in Q2? I would love to know what your biggest win from the last 3 months is. Tell me in the comments.

Don’t underestimate the power of remembering and celebrating your wins… It’s a muscle. The more you practice working on it The more you’ll realize how your days, weeks, months and years and filled with these wins. They are just waiting for you to notice them. Recognizing and remember these wins not only make you feel good, but are crucial to one’s journey in being able to remind yourself of your own capabilities and powers especially when you are not getting the external validation that you expected. What is one win you have this week? Share it below, I would love to hear 👇

When was the last time you paused to recognise your wins? As business owners, we’re always reaching for the next goal, planning the next big thing and juggling a million things at once. But how often do you just stop ✋🏻 and acknowledge how far you've already come? Taking a moment to celebrate your achievements, big or small, isn't JUST a feel-good exercise. It’s fuel. It reminds you of what you’re capable of, reinforces your own resilience and strength, and gives you a boost so you can tackle what’s next. It might be the big client you landed, a great launch, hitting a money milestone, or just having the courage to keep showing up on tough days - it all counts and needs celebrating! So, give yourself a bit of time to pause and give yourself some credit!! Take stock of everything you've achieved, every difficulty you've overcome. Feel proud of your journey, and celebrate your wins (even the small ones!). How far have you come? And what’s your next milestone worth celebrating?

One of my favourite tactics for celebrating wins and giving your team recognition that is meaningful to them: Email a summary of the win to your own boss, perhaps even the CEO of the company, and cc your team member(s) who is responsible for the win. If your boss or CEO isn't a natural replier to emails, back channel a message to them and ask them to reply and acknowledge the win. It means more to your team that you'll ever realise to get recognition from those above you.

Are you giving people their flowers? When was the last time you celebrated a win? Whether it's a huge milestone or a small victory, celebrating those moments is key to keeping both you and your team motivated for the long game. We all need to feel seen, or we start running on empty. However, you need to make it make sense. Ever bought a round of coffee for a bunch of tea drinkers? Yeah... me neither. The key is knowing what actually matters to your team. Maybe it's a shoutout in a meeting, a quick handwritten note, or a lunch (just make sure it’s not during Ramadan or Lent—ask me how I know). How often should you do it? There’s no strict formula, but I like to celebrate at key moments—after a big project launch, a sprint, or even when things didn’t go as planned (hello, rollbacks!). It’s about acknowledging both the major wins and the tiny steps that got you there. Team wins, individual wins—no one's left out. So here's your cue: Who on your team deserves a shoutout right now? And how can you show it in a way that feels personal? Oh, and don’t forget to give yourself some credit too! You’re part of the team after all. PS: Thanks for my flowers, you know who you are 😊.
