We were retained by Altnets to find them a Director of Operations to help accelerate their next phase of growth. Tom Stanford worked closely with Director Sam Bangle to first of all understand the true requirements for this hire, then mapping out the process and ensuring that in depth market research was done to deliver an initial longlist of candidates. It was clear from the outset that Oliver was a front runner due to both his Operational experience but also the cultural fit which we knew was so important to Altnets. Since Olly started at the start of October, we've had the pleasure of lunch with him & some of the other team and it's fantastic to see how settled in and enthusiatic he is about this next part of his career. Altnets turned 4 yesterday and we are so excited to see what's to come in the coming years and are proud to continue this partnership. #Testimonial #SeniorHiring #Advisory

✨ Building Strong Relationships: A Key to Success ✨ Reflecting on my journey with Thoropass, I'm reminded of the power of meaningful connections in our professional lives. It all began when a talented designer I was recruiting ended up joining Thoropass. Little did I know, this would mark the beginning of a transformative partnership. I recall reaching out to the Head of People, hoping to explore ways we could collaborate further. From our very first conversation, I was struck by his vision and passion. Over the next two years, we worked hand-in-hand to expand and strengthen their product and design teams. Our partnership deepened when he entrusted me with finding a Head of Talent Acquisition for his team. This pivotal hire not only enriched their team but also set the stage for the next chapter of my journey. I was honored when the new Head of Talent Acquisition invited me to join Thoropass internally, a testament to the trust and relationships we had nurtured. Joining Thoropass has been an incredible opportunity to not only contribute to their growth from within but also to witness firsthand the company's unwavering commitment to innovation and excellence. I am grateful for the relationships that have paved this path and excited about the future we are building together. What keeps me going in this industry is the relationships I have built. At Carbon Talent our core focus is nurturing deep, meaningful relationships which results in us being able to grow teams. Let's continue to invest in relationships that matter and watch as they flourish into something extraordinary. Together, we can achieve remarkable things. 💓 ✨ PHOTO - A majestic black bear exploring an overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway. #RelationshipBuilding #ProfessionalGrowth #RecruitmentSuccess

"Culture eats strategy for breakfast every day". YES!! ❓ Does your organization regularly shift strategy, or does the culture allow for goals to regularly be surpassed? 💡 No matter how strong your strategy, it’s the people, their values, and the culture they create that drive lasting impact. 🚀 Culture isn’t just a nice-to-have—it’s the foundation for meaningful growth and sustainable success. When a team genuinely aligns around shared values and principles, the outcomes speak for themselves. 🤝 In my work with clients, I often emphasize the importance of building a culture that aligns with their mission, values, and desired outcomes. It’s about fostering an environment where every team member feels empowered to contribute, innovate, and grow. Cheers to Abridge for setting a powerful example of what’s possible when people and purpose come first!
Building the Abridge team has been one of the most gratifying experiences of my life. As we’ve grown from a few dozen employees to almost 200, we’ve proven that culture eats strategy for breakfast every day. Abridgers possess a unique blend of intelligence, work ethic, creativity, generosity, and all-around kindness and care. They live our values, and the incredible growth we’re experiencing is a testament to how important our people are to our success. That's why I’m proud to unveil our new Life at Abridge page, which shares a bit more about our ethos and guiding principles: https://lnkd.in/eDNYeyhw If you are interested in joining a team that is restoring connection in healthcare, we’re hiring across every team, including: ➡️ Machine Learning ➡️ Product & Design ➡️ Software Engineering ➡️ Marketing ➡️ Partnerships ➡️ Customer Success ... and more! For those following Wolfspeed's progress and news, you've probably heard that the company underwent layoffs last week, which affected a significant percentage of our workforce. While I'm grateful that I wasn't affected, my newsfeed has been inundated with colleagues who were, including three of my direct teammates. For those who know me and were let go, please know that I am more than happy to connect and help in any way possible. For my network that is currently #hiring, please share your opportunities or share ones that you know of! I know many talented individuals in the area of #HR, #recruiting, #learninganddevelopment, #studentaffairs, #careercoaching, #communications, #engineering, and #IT seeking now!

The openness and vulnerability I witness daily in self-management work never fail to amaze me. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of interviewing Rodrigo Ventre from EPPO Cidades Inteligentes, and within moments, it felt like I’d known him for years. And this isn’t a one-off. It happens time and again when I connect with people from self-managing organizations. There’s something about how these people show up—authentically, without the masks we so often wear in traditional setups. Within the first 10 minutes, Rodrigo had shared a crisis he faced at 19, his decision not to join his family company, Eppo, after his studies, and how, in later years, he found himself there despite his original values. He spoke about the challenge of navigating layoffs while striving to bring a more humanistic approach to work. It was raw. It was real. And it was his story. Eppo’s story. In 2025, I’ll be interviewing a lot of self-managing organizations for an exciting project I’ll reveal soon. Of course, I want as many people to also be able to listen in and join these conversations. Conversations like these make me reflect on my own work at Corporate Rebels and the immense pleasure it brings me. #SelfManagement #FutureOfWork #NewWaysOfWorking

In the context of recent layoffs, Maynard Dixon's painting *Forgotten Man* serves as a powerful reminder of the emotional and social impact of economic hardship. This 1934 artwork captures the struggle of individuals left behind during the Great Depression, resonating deeply with the challenges many face today. Layoffs create “forgotten men and women” – talented, capable individuals who find themselves sidelined. As we navigate these tough times, let’s commit to recognizing their contributions and supporting their journeys back into meaningful roles. Whether it’s mentoring, networking, or simply checking in, small actions can make a big difference. Let’s not forget the people who need us most – they are not just numbers, but valuable members of our shared community. #Resilience #Support #EconomicHardship #AI #tech #productmanagement

The secret weapon to building a world-class team (without VC money). We grew ColdIQ from a team of 3 to a team of 16 in less than 18 months. How did we attract all our top talents at ColdIQ? LinkedIn content. Yes, you read that right. Not job boards. Not recruiters. Just content. Almost every single team member we have at ColdIQ came inbound from our content rather than through a normal job post on LinkedIn. I still remember the first time Dan Rosenthal reached out, telling us that he wanted to work for us for free for three months so he could later start his own agency. (He ended up being so good that we decided to give him a share of the business, but that’s a story for another time.) You can build a lifestyle business with a few VAs oversea but if you want to build a massive business, you need top talent. And to attract top talent I don’t think there is a better way than posting quality content on LinkedIn. Are you hiring right now? Then start posting today. Your future star team member is probably scrolling right now.
