Many thanks to the Satell Institute for inviting me to participate in their executive roundtable today! It was great being able to compare my experiences in running a company in the cleantech space against those of of executives across the spectrum in the region. Thanks as well to Cecilia Hodges and M&T Bank for hosting us!
Today, The Satell Institute traveled to the #National #Capital #Region for a highly curated, invitation-only roundtable with top executive leaders from businesses, foundations, and non-profits. I wanted to give a huge thank you to Cecilia Hodges and the team at M&T Bank for welcoming us! There's an excitement brewing along the Beltway and accross the #DMV – as a new spirit of collaboration has arisen. Leaders across ALL sectors have discovered that when we step out of our silos, share ideas, and communicate openly, incredible things can happen and unimaginable possibilities can come to life. Our discussion also explored the future of work, questioning whether yesterday's structures can support tomorrow's needs. One thing is clear: no matter where work happens, building strong, interconnected communities is KEY to fostering the personal, professional, & civic growth of the next generation of leaders. Thank you to today’s participants: JT Saunders (Korn Ferry) Patrick McNally (Lockheed Martin) Cecilia Hodges (M&T Bank) Andrea Connolly (M&T Bank) Michael Gordon (Elavaire) Tanya Sweeney, (UNCF) David Baker (Virginia Tech Innovation Campus) Jacquelyn Horstmann Didio (Madelyn James) Cassie Hartogs (BDO) Patrick Finch (ElectroTempo, Inc.) Michael Hickey (Glenmede) Sarah Tonizzo (Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation) Michael Stevens, (City Year Washington, DC) Ria Freydberg (The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society) Eric M. Weaver, (United Way World Wide) If you're interested in attending these gatherings in your area, please contact me for details.
