Moreover, the initiative ensures equitable access to these opportunities, regardless of socioeconomic background, thereby reducing disparities in access to essential resources. On thought leadership My journey in education started in 2013 when I first started teaching in a low-resourced government school as part of my Teach For Pakistan fellowship. I witnessed the potential of hundreds of kids who showed that despite debilitating resources, they can transform their communities through unique, creative and out-of-the-box solutions. I stepped into edtech with mission to empower kids on a national level, in a country where a large majority haven’t even stepped inside a classroom. I always wondered why are we in this situation despite great institutions and brilliant educationists in this field who have dedicated their life to this mission. And increasingly I gravitate towards partnerships. We cannot solve this alone. Not possible. When we first establish the NIETE brand, we deliberately kept Taleemabad out of it. Haroon Yasin’s vision transcended our organization’s own boundaries and he inspired all of us to follow. Which is why I feel an inflection point in education where education leaders are now interested in replicating this model in difffeent parts of the country because it genuinely shows thought leadership, going beyond our personal identities and truly showing up for the cause.
